My crush's little brother got this as an assignment, gave it to her while I was there... So in short, someone should help with the explanations for the examples 1 and 2.

Using the first example: 45_5_14_3_[69]
45 divide 5 = 9, plus 14 = 23, multiplied by 3 = [69]

Likewise the 2nd example, and So on ,

Question 5. 121_11_9_(?)_ [100]
121 divide 11 = 11, plus 9 = 20, in other to get the answer in "circle" we divide the answer in "box" by the 20, i.e 100 divide 20 = 5
