They offer admission quickly, but they do not defer admission.

ebelesomto1997:

-My dad stays in the US, he had a closing balance of 32k usd at the time of my application.(his payslip, letter of introduction from employer all included).
-My program is an MSC program with a total tuition fee of 25,000CAD, already made of a tuition deposit of 2,000cad meanwhile tuition for the first year only is 21,000cad leaving a balance of 4,000 cad for my second year.
-My closing balance as at when i applied was about 4.4M naira, meanwhile i was gifted about 3.5M naira equivalent to 10k cad for my one year living expenses that sum it up to my closing balance been 4.4M naira.
The money was transferred from my mums account because my dad doesn’t have a naira account,I got a gift deed to that regard and stating in my SOP that the money was gifted to me by my father but was transferred from my mother’s account and I went further to state on my SOP that the remaining balance of my tuition fee will be remitted to the school’s account each semester of my studies from my dads account using his debit card.
At the end of it all got a refusal based on assets and financial situation and the attachment below is my gcms note.
Please how best can i tackle the concerns given by the visa officer.
Look at it dis way.
Ur school fees is 25k
Living expenses for 2yrs 20k
Miscellaneous for 2yrs 8k
Flight ticket back home maybe 1500k
4.4m in ur acct is 12,900cad
Which means ur money in ur acct can’t even last u for living for a year in Canada apart from school fees.
Now the VO will assume ur dad does not plan to use all his savings to sponsor u, bcuz 32k usd is 44k cad. U have paid 2k nd u have 12,900k
23k+10k+5k+1500 = your expenses for d 2yrs excluding what u have already is 39,500k nd ur dad has 44k in acct. So u see u using almost all his money. So that might be the mindset of the VO.
Plus don’t forget even the 4.4m in ur acct he’s d one who still gave it to u
So work on ur POF nd do d calculations properly Mk sure ders excess money leftover. Nd don’t forget strong home ties too
Shalom.

Good morning,

1. is there anyone that got study permit immediately after nysc? Most people here have been on jobs for years but this applicant doesn't have a Job at the moment is this a red flag?

2. As a male applicant, will using your daughter as home ties be enough? Not married to the mum though?

Has anyone been in this kind of scenario before? If yes how did you overcome this on your application

I think that the fact that he's just finishing NYSC therefore low study gap is a plus rather than negative. If his sponsors finances (parents I'm guessing) are ok then there shouldn't be an issue. I submitted in November 2022 and my last "formal" work ended in July 2021 and still got PPR
As for question 2 I wouldn't really know

Yea they are expensive when u book close to your arrival. I'm not sure about hotels cos I booked an Airbnb. The place I stayed had full services like WiFi, equiped kitchen etc.
Just look for the cheapest option and go for it.

For how long did you stay in Airbnb, and how long did it take you to secure your accommodation?

Please advise on this.

Hello house, I just applied for my sister’s student visa. She plans to go with two of her kids (13 and 5 years). I noticed I wasn’t asked to fill a separate form for the kids except the family information form where I checked the box that two of her kids would be going with her. Do I need to fill a separate forms for these kids?

Also, there is a biometric request for her alone. Is this the right thing to do?

Good morning to you all. I will like to ask this important question.

Is upfront medical important before visa can be approved? Or does doing upfront medical give advantage in getting visa approved because I have noticed that many people that get approval on this platform did upfront medical

Good day house, urgent need for assistance.
I got admission for university of Manitoba to study a 3yr course program but its advanced direct entry so am resuming in the second year, but Manitoba changed it to four years, they claim cause of visa reapplication or something. I already applied for Mpower loan but they insist that Manitoba has to state the graduation year(Manitoba has written one letter then another mail, but Mpower still refuse that they can't work wit that after going on for like 5mknths now. My sponsor ( my mom) was able to get 8.5m in cash in bank and she already transferred it to me as gift of deeds with court back up.
Have filled out the IMm forms only to apply,am really confused cause I already set my timeline on Mpower loan, what advice would u give pls..the second resumption date will soon lapse..
Pls help

Upfront medical doesn’t guarantee your visa will be approved or not. The only difference is when your application gets to the medical request stage it get updated instead of IRCC sending a medical request. But letting IRCC send a medical request before goin for medical makes you have at least 90% assurance that your visa will be approved cos most people who got refused doesn’t receive medical request

In the two communications from the school didn't they state the graduation year?
Mpower only finances the last two years of your education, that is why they are particular about the graduation date.
