WOW u have a Good Canada Visa, they don't have choice than to issue you the visa

gerrald02:
As requested.

I had previous Schengen visa application rejected twice in 2016 not showing sufficient evidence of home ties.

Got Canada visa got in 2018.

Evidence submitted in this application is similar to those presented in earlier threads.

1. application form + photograph.
2. Passport + copy Previous visa page / passport.
3. Travel Itinerary showing my holiday plans in both countries for the 10days - hotel + tour activities ( tours listed but i didn't book) i planned to do (as alternative to booking a return ticket).
4. Employee letter confirming employment and approval of leave during the period.
5. 6 months bank statement and my account balance which i have been building up reflected I would be able to afford spending 120€ daily for the trip.
6. Travel insurance paid.
7. Hotel accommodation booked but not yet paid for.
8. Cover letter introducing myself and summarizing the documents submitted and travel plans.
9. Landed Property document
10. Marriage certificate.
11. Kids school report/fees paid.

Items 9 - 11 I added as supporting documents to demonstrate personal links to the country of residence which was the reason of refusal in previous application.

Apart from the visa fee, appointment fee the only other thing I had to pay prior was the travel insurance.

Yes it helped having it however as I mentioned previously I had been denied same twice and considering the quick return in of my passport I wasn't so confident since it is not automatic or guaranteed that one would get issued.

Thanks again everyone for your earlier contributions it helped. hopefully some one else would benefit from my experience.

I will like to confirm what mode of payment was accepted for visa fee at vfs, especially now that there is cash crunch.
Were there some concessions.
Please give details

Hi Pufframmy, this question goes to you.
Remember the part of the application for france tourist visa that said if you be visiting any other member state , even if it is for a few hours.
You should state it, during your time. Did you put it?
I noticed alot of people would use NO, and later enter other member states as seen in respondents cases online.

Are there implications for this, especially if one eventually returns after visiting other states.

I need your inputs as an experienced person. Other contributions will be accepted for all to learn.

I also thought gerrald added it, that was why he included santori as part of itinerary.

Please how many days did it take UPS to deliver your passport from when VFS sent it out? Is there a way to track it with them?

I added both countries to mine.

I stand to be corrected as a first timer but i shouldn't think so as itineraries and circumstances do change. Now i've got the visa i wish i can get 2 more days off work and some more money ill probably squeeze in 2 days in Italy and get out of my bucket list even though was not on original plans/countries declared.

Hello guys, someone who's wife is doing masters abroad, should i state that as a reason why i am travelling alone? I am trying not to complicate my application with too much information but is it necessary stating that in my letter?
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by hunee: 9:02pm On Mar 13, 2023
No need. Dont add it

. There is no implication . Europe operates a borderless continent. You stamped in and stamped out once. You may say No and change your mind to visit other European countries.

I am not sure they do walk-IN, they seem to follow that their appointment list judiciously. I have seen cases where people are given option of reschedule because they didn't meet up with their time. Try and have good internet when making the next payment. You can try sterling bank card.

There is premium or they call it VIP service at VFS. You dont need appointment for that; however the service is paid for and you are usually attended to in a short time.

He can send a mail to vfs france section to get more details, our feedbacks are limited. Contact the appropriate unit.
