If Lagos were to be located somewhere around east and Igbo historical relationship with Lagos happened to be what Yoruba is to Lagos today believe me Lagos would have been a true centre of excellence and melting point of all talents in Nigeria.

Do you know why I share this sentiment, Igbos irrespective of their weaknesses love competition. They would be happy to welcome any talent that will challenge what they already have. This is the reason why Igbos have many rich men because everyone wants to be the best. Though it attracts some envy but the positive effects of competitive mindset is more than the backdrops.

Here we have supposed intelligent Yorubas fighting a tribe divinely blessed just because they feel Igbos are outshining them.

What stops you from shinning your own in your own way? Or you don't trust God to make you also shine through your efforts?

The world is fast moving. If the few demonically tribalistic Yorubas don't change, they will be left behind.

Everybody is important

The most tribalistic region in Naija is SE. It shows in the election. But you guys are freaky blind to the truth. SW left behind? SW is the most liberal and most advanced in Naija. If them born the Igbos well make dem leave SW if hunger no go hammer you. You isolated yourself due to your tribal sentiments yet accused someone else of marginalizing you. The day you start taking responsibility for your action, that's when your region will progress. For now, you are left behind.

Don't be unreasonable here...

My mum is Igbo

I'm proudly Yoruba man...

The Emergence of Gbadebo is salted by Obi/Igbo imperialism on Lagos...

We have said No...

Chinedu is more Igbo dan Yoruba...
We said No.

Ireti won Fct, cos her winning was not to undermine anyone..but ask ursf y Obi is particular about lags...

Before Obi there is Labour Party why r they not as riotous as this, but now that Obi had introduced ethnicity n religious base politics now LP become a Cancer

Any evidence to show Obi is more particular about Lagos?

I don hear.

Is it not laughable that Gbadebo Chinedu who cannot speak Yoruba promised in the video that he would preserve Yoruba tradition and culture?

How does he want to achieve that?

He was also trying, in the video, to legalize the same agbero they all complain about.

He would need to get a Yoruba lesson teacher first.

Funny boy.

This guy is a joker !
I voted Obi for president . However I must admit that this clamour for GRV to govern Lagos is totally uncalled for .HE HAS ABSOLUTELY NO EXPERIENCE ! YOU JUST DONT WAKE UP 12 MONTHS AGO AND DECIDE TO BECOME GOVERNOR . HE CANT EVEN SPEAK YORUBA !

Let's put Sanwoolu aside for a second and assume he is out of the race to become governor.

You mean there are candidates like DOHERTY , BRAITHWAITE and you will still vote GRV ?

Let's not vote incompetent people simply because we want to do away with this government.

Let's be objective .

Igbos are very unique in voting. There's a value system which has always been evidenced on their voting pattern. Igbos doesn't know what is tribe when it comes to leadership they go for the best because of their business interest. Check history.

They have always given block supports to the best leadership's this nation has ever had. Or are you complaining because the best happened to be an Igbo man?

Check your conscience bro

Hunger hammer Igbos Only if you know the ratio of Yoruba dependency on Igbos in Lagos. Igbos are actually sustaining great Yoruba population and you know this truth. But I feel you're shy to see it.

Here we have Yorubas, fighting their own just because the mother is Igbo. Lagos was the FCT for a reason. Anybody irrespective of Tribe should be able to aspire to be the number 1 citizen of the state.

Anyways Tinubu and his dirty noisy minions are in the minority. Sensible Yorubas are more in number.

But your useless lots want a foolish bigot, inexperienced entity, Bode George (convicted thief) godson to be the Gov of Lagos. Some that hates his origin yet want to govern his ethnicity that he derided. Can't even put 2 words of Yoruba together. Shame on him.

You people with your dishonesty condemned Sowore for lack of experience but want this Igbo-smoking inexperienced nonentity who has no confirmed source of income to govern Lagos. Thunder fire you and your likes.

Chinedu GRV stop deceiving yourself you can't unseat Gov. Babajide Sanwo Olu. The sentiments that some people used in the presidential election to vote against APC have now be conquered.

No more religious sentiment, Obingo used it to get votes from the Church, he visited all the churches in Nigeria to campaign but it's now 3weeks after the election he had not visited them to say thank you.

We crave for leaders that can bring us true development in terms of economic and infrastructures and Sanwo Olu had proven he is up to the task so we must ensure he gets the second term God's willing.

Was it the church that voted for him?

If GRV enters, he won’t even spend 100 days in office

Possible likely scenarios:

- Obasa state house of assembly impeaches him

- President Tinubu uses Supreme Court to remove him

- The Chagoury family and other Lagos billionaires who are part of current Jagaban Lagos owners frustrates him

May the best Man win.

PS: GRV could be a winner this Saturday but he hasn’t done enough.

-He has alienated Yoruba youths and Yoruba Christians who made obi to win Lagos.(Not Lagos Igbos as been falsely believed). If only he had been targeting his messaging and engagements at them in this last cycle of campaign

- He has ignored the religious politics that helped obi. In politics, end justifies means. Religious politics worked for obi. 6 million plus votes that obi score was a victory for him, considering that it was his first outing, with little budget and structure compared to Tinubu, Atiku and even Kwakwanso’s kwankwasiya movement

- His video messaging quality is not too good

- His body language should have been optimized in his video

- His body posture and image is submissive, not like a dominant leader.

He is definitely intelligent for him to be in this political position at this his relatively young age.

There’s still time to rectify all these if he truly wants this.

All the best to Sanwo and GRV

With your poorly educated governors how Lagos wann grow for South East. Yorubas are not the demonically tribalistic people but progressive and most accommodating people that were last to realize what the whole world were sayig about Ibos. I was shocked when Togo and Ghana policemen were segregating Ibos for stricter search along the whole Inter country stretch.

Wanderers, descendants of Cane! We don't want you to come and turn our land to what you have made of yours.
