@OP.

Sure Nigeria has problems but the bigger problem is that majority of Nigerians, and that may include you, do not feel they must be part of the process that delivers a better Nigeria.

In their opinion, improving. Nigeria has to exclusively be the duty of others. That in itself is a big part of why Nigeria is the way it is.

Don't change the topic. Is Nigeria the only country with resources?

Do you know Afghanistan has more resources than Nigeria?

D.R Congo is blessed with huge resources Nigeria can only dream of.

Iraq and Syria are blessed with natural resources.

Go to these countries and enjoy their resources nau?

Who tied your legs to Nigeria?

nigeria has more diverse human and natural resources ,in addition, it is very very very hard to travel out of nigeria

equals over 200 ways to split into inexistence, they will fight till they have to mix again in ways not known to any mathematician, biologist, philosopher, economist, etc at least i know the mixing will spread to other counries because the lands will keep giving the fighters reasons to scatter everywhere ,refugees will sing on the road, peaceful disintegration cannot happen here, b4 the split, blood will still be wasted, during the split ,blood will still be wasted , after split ,not enough space 4 burial will remain.

The point here is that Nigeria does not work, it has never worked since the white man brought us together

So the choice is there for all, stay together and accept Nigeria how it is and stop complaining, or seek for the disintegration of Nigeria and try something new

For me as an Igbo man, I will not stay in a country that doesnt work, just for the sake of staying together

Im an going to seek my independence, take my destiny in my hands and try something new, for better or worse

The rest of you should feel free to continue with what is left of Nigeria and hope for the best

Considerable number of those people are the people that thugs hired by election riggers stopped from voting.
The remaining number is just fake numbers that cannot be verified on the election day.
This election saw the HIGHEST voter turnout in the electoral history of Nigeria.
But the riggers did everything in their powers to defeat that, and leave the country a place of lost hope.
But thank God for the person that actually won this election, because Nigeria has never seen his type at presidential election level before.
Nigeria will not survive unless Peter Obi reclaims his mandate.
He may not be Jesus, but in the current Nigerian context (when compared with other top candidates) he comes very close.

Maybe but they are full of Nigerians like you and me. The members of our political parties were not raised on a different planet to us. They are the same as us working in a system that cannot engender progress for Nigeria.

If you are so sure Nigerian politician are differently evil and you are virtuous then why not seek to be the change you want?

Are you a card-carrying member of any Party with an eye on an influential office you can use to deliver change in your own capacity?

Sitting on the sideline blaming others will get us nowhere brethren. Besides, if you truly know the problem of Nigeria you will stop blaming Parties and leaders as Benjamin Okaba concludes below when he insist we must dump the 1999 constitution and return to that of 1963.

Regional autonomy is the way out. Fight for it.if every Nigeria demands it then leaders cannot defy us.

the cost of effecting change is the issue for me,the greater the willingness of the rich to effect change , the greater the chance of the change, i mean those financially rich have a greater chance.

Not true per highest voter turnout. This is actually the lowest.
Granted there were problems like intimidation, suppression, late arrival of materials, rigging etc, I concede that 5m Nigerians disenfranchised and another 5m died, so what happened to the remaining 57m?
So INEC double-registered voters by 57m and allowed them to collect PVC 2x?
Remember 50% of Naija population is over 100m… so only 25% of registered voters vote. 3 out of 4 registered voters dont vote.
Naija problems are far beyond Peter Obi. Naija needs good NASS members, governors, HOA members…and 75% of registered voters dont participate.

Not true again. About 95% of Nigerians do not have 500k in their bank account. So majority of Nigerians are poor and by their refusal to participate in the process, they elect oppressors by default. For every 1 rich Naija with N100m in his account, there 10k poor Nigetians around him/her.
Only govt policies and institutions can help Naija.

Worst place on Earth?

Imbecil.e, go and spend time in Afghanistan, Syria, Niger, Yemen, Eritrea, Mali, South Sudan, Cambodia, DRC, Burkina Faso, Iraq, Somalia, Burundi, North Korea, Myanmar, or Sierra Leone, and see if your dumbass mummy's boy backside doesn't beg to be returned immediately to Nigeria.

ASSWIPE.
Are you sure Nigeria is better than those countries you listed above? In what angle is Nigeria better than them? Have you lived in those countries? People just sit in their rooms and concoct imaginations to comfort themselves. FYI at the moment, we aren't better than DRC, Sierra Leone, North Korea, Burundi or Niger Rep. Nigerians presently can't afford basic foods such as rice, oil, milk, fish etc. From the angle of insecurity, we aren't better than them. Their own insecurity hasn't reached the level where ordinary citizens could be kidnapped while travelling or even at home and told to bring millions as ransom. Or is that what obtains in Niger, Chad, Congo, Uganda etc?

Not really, private rich citizens cant fix roads, build power plants, hospitals, universities .. if it’s not too profitable.

Also, we need structural and legal framework to empower public enterprizes.
It’s never the intention of rich to empower the poor. But Naija poor love their oppressors, so the cycle of oppression continues
