I understand you but that's the beauty of democracy. Each of the millions of mumus like me have the same one vote as you do.
The fact that I am not sold on Obi does not mean I don't care about my country. I am just not convinced and that's allowed in politics.

We have corrected you several times that Obi is Igbo president elect not Nigerians. Did he get votes in the North and the SW ?Did he even have parry agents in the North? Additionally why saying 90 percents of Nairaland nstead of saying 90 percentage of Igbos on Nairaland. Sweepy statements must be avoided when reporting or commenting!

I would prefer we debate with pure facts and not assumptions and conjectures. Nigeria never agree on rotation of the presidency on the basis of regions. If you disagree then provide the evidence with links and sources to back up this claim of a rotation agreement.

What I am aware of is PDP's rotation agreement as a party. That agreement was based on North-South delineation and religion was never part of the equation as your religion can change. Where you pick from the North is your problem in the North and where you pick from the South is the South's headache. When APC was formed via a merger of some aggrieved PDP members and the established opposition, they also had "unwritten" agreement and that's the reason behind Tinubu's Emilokan statement to APC party representatives in Abeokuta a few days to their primaries held in Abuja.

Atiku may have crept in but PDP as a party already had southerners for 13 years and a northerner for 3 years. He leveraged his position on that fact. Many disagreed with him for valid reasons and he also had his own valid reasons.

Tinubu on his part, never had any business with PDP or their agreement. He worked for the success of a Buhari that previously failed 3 times. He felt it's time for the North to also back him. I see nothing wrong in that. Again, in national politics within the parties, they focus more on North-South delineation then after that they negotiate from within based on zonal delineation (NW, NE, NC, SW, SE, SS).

Anyone that tells you that they had a regional agreement should back that up with facts.

Beginning, as necessary, from 1960 to 2023, to count the history of apex political leadership of Nigeria, what reason have you, or any rational thinking Nigerian have, to deny that it's the turn of the Igbo to present a president for Nigeria in 2023?
Mind you, Tinubu alone did not, and couldn't have made Buhari become president in 2015. There were Igbos of presidential capacity who also helped to form APC.
WHAT REASON HAD TINUBU TO SAY IT'S HIS TURN, KNOWING FULL WELL THAT HE WAS LYING, BECAUSE OBASANJO USED THE TURN OF THE SW REGION BETWEEN 1999-2007; THERE WERE IGBO PRESIDENTIAL MATERIALS WHO WERE AT THE FORMATION STATE OF APC, AND ARE STILL IN APC?
Some of you who scratch evry bin to find reasons to rationslise inequality in a country, are actually digging the burial pit for one Nigeria.
