The less said about the list, the better. It is now clear that the only reason why a poor quality coach in the person of Pasero was chosen was because he is ready to kowtow to NFF corruption.

Why should Musa continue to take up space on the team in the name of giving guidance to the youngsters? Can't Musa come along as an ex-player to speak to the players when necessary?

Mr. Yum Yum Bamayi is just there to be marketed. No more, no less.

The midfield is a total shame. Etebo and Nwakali should have been brought in as options to bolster what has been our Achilles' heel.

I just weak.

Rohr was a bad coach but he didn't accept so many political call-ups.
even rohr just called up a 38 year old to the benin national team citing 'his experience and advice to the young to the young ones'. The nff will rather sign a coach that aligns with their mago mago practices rather than a competent one.

Is this list official? If so, they better amend the list to include Folarin Balogun before England or USA cap him and Gift Orban before Liberia caps him. Also where’s Victor Boniface?

Don’t even get me started on the Ahmed Musa’s invite.

O pari

lovewins:
Super Eagles very uninspiring list

Ahmed Musa as usual gets his reserved spot

Joe Aribo who doesn't even make bench the last few months, Frank Onyeka and Ndidi who just got back from injury make up 3 of the only 4 midfielders

Imagine having a YumYum players, captain of the worst u20 team we've fielded in recent time making the list.

The issue of age cheating and bribery in the selection process for the Nigeria national age grade football team is having a detrimental effect on our country's football. It is preventing talented players from showcasing their abilities and damaging the overall quality of our national teams.

It is vital that the handlers of both the senior and junior teams select players based on merit alone, without favoritism, quotas or religious considerations. The selection process should be transparent and players should be chosen purely on their skills, talent and performance.

The use of age cheating and bribery not only undermines the integrity of the game, but also creates a culture of corruption that is harmful to our society as a whole. By selecting players on merit, we can ensure that the most talented and hardworking individuals are given the opportunity to represent our country, regardless of their background or personal connections.

It is time to reconstruct the selection process for the Nigeria national age grade football team and make it fair, transparent and merit-based. Only then can we truly unlock the potential of our football talents and build a strong, successful team for the future.

It is concerning to know that our national senior football team handlers are selecting players based on biases, as this can negatively impact the team's performance and ultimately affect the unity of our country. It is important to recognize that football is not just a game but a significant unifying factor for our nation, and therefore, it should be taken seriously.

To address this issue, we must prioritize merit-based selection criteria and ensure that all players are given equal opportunities to showcase their skills and talents. This means eliminating any form of bias based on factors such as ethnicity, religion, or personal relationships.

They must recognize the importance of football in promoting unity and national pride and work towards ensuring that our national team represents the best of our country. This can only be achieved through fair and merit-based selection processes that prioritize the collective success of the team over individual biases.
