People shouldn't fret much about tomorrow. The APC has achieved what they want with the BVAS in the Presidential election. Tomorrow's one will be credible and fair. Mahmood cannot afford to mess up twice.

The people are just to desperate and wicked.
Too late to cry, the train has already left the station, the Court should have given this order at least a month ago.

All is history now.

Not following its regulations and guidelines means that INEC is indicting itself.
One of the fallouts from the last election is that people hate to hear the name INEC... They should try and as much as possible to redeem their image that is battered by their poor performance.

Has INEC not uploaded all the presidential results on the IREV?

The court didn't order INEC to upload the result within a stipulated time. INEC can decide to upload the result after 48 hours or more. No court can order or force INEC to upload any result on IREV within a stipulated time.

We need to read and understand must of this court rulings!

Justice Obiora Egwuatu, in a judgment, also ordered the use of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System, BVAS, to upload a scanned copy of the EC8A to INEC Result Viewing Portal, IReV, immediately after the completion of all the polling units voting and results’ procedures in Akwa Ibom.

RESULT PROCEDURES: Collation of the results from the ward level to the LGA level to the STATE COLLATION CENTRE where it will be projected on the screen.

The electoral law is clear enough

It is the prerogative of INEC to transmit result electronically

“Section 60, sub-section 2 of the Act

Obi and Atiku should go and lobby for votes instead of waiting to hack into INEC sserver
Prerogative in the sense that it decides to transmit electronically or manually?

You are very daft to the core.

Court order INEC to do exactly what is stated in the electoral act.

Nigeria is a lawless country driven solely on impunity.

you can't be ordering INEC when it's electoral act and guidelines is so clear, this is just an abuse of court process, doesn't make sense, and not binding

Look at this chief urchin and mandate thieves regurgitating what their emptyhead Dele Alake told newsmen. grin olodo

Section 60 of electoral act 2022...
(4) The presiding officer shall count and announce the result at the polling unit.
(5) The presiding officer shall transfer the results including total number of accredited
voters and the results of the ballot in a manner as prescribed by the Commission.
(6) A presiding officer who wilfully contravenes any provision of this section commits an
offence and is liable on conviction to a fine not more than N500,000 or imprisonment
for a term of at least six months.

The constitution did not say in "any" manner prescribed by the commission. It clearly says "a" manner. The manner or if you like, the set guidelines prescribed by INEC is to transmit the result electronically immediately after voting.

Even as criminally minded as Alake is I'm sure he understands this. Mandate thieves! Òkan yin óníbalè insha Allah! Olè niyin olè

I checked the electoral act again and I didn't see any word electronic transmission of results .
Think again, you are misinterpreting the law.
