Good evening my bosses, please I'm planning an event by next month and I'm looking to get a driver that can convey us to and fro to the venue. From Lagos to ogbomoso. Same day journey. Preferably Sienna. I don't know what the price would be like. I will be grateful if I can get a budget here so as to plan ahead.
Thanks everyone

Do you have a means of conveyance? I could offer my driving service at a good fee cheesy

Next time you go there try and make friends with one of them.

Relationship is very important in this country. Who you know is more important than what you know. Try to make friends with at least one police, one soldier, one VIO, One FRSC, and one agbero... Those people will bail you out when you least expect.

Move closer to one of those officers, all of them no fit carry strong face finish. Ask one of them for advice on what to do. Treat him nicely, but him recharge card or drink and you'll be best friends. He'll help you out of your troubles.

Adefemimoraks:
Please I need to know more about this permit of a thing VIO don use my eye see shege
I ride bike here in Minna and I got plate number from VIO office, later I was been harassed and exhorted by this same officers and even traffic officers that my plate number is not linked with my bike, and I don't have Permit. After several cases of these I went back to their office and demand for right things to be done,I went on Friday, met the Man that sold me the plate number and I was told to come back on Monday with 1k and he will have give me all the necessary papers, On my way to their office on Monday,I was stop again by these VIO people, I explained every detail to them showed them my bike papers that I was going to their office to get everything done, I begin to plead from the shit their own fraud got me into,I had to trek to their headquarters where I got my plate number and explain to them, they called the station where my bike got seized, I won't say the call was rubbish but It was, after a lot of beg and shame wey they don use my eyes see,I was asked to bring 2k I had just 1k3hundred then one I was going to give them for my papers and the last 300 cash that I have,I had just 500 in my account I begged this man to collect the 1k3h and I will transfer the 500 he said no,I had to make calls and start begging b4 I could see additional 500 for this Man, because I must get the bike out that day I'm leaving in bosso and I was there in Tunga (if you know Minna).,so after all of these I went back to the headquarters they said I should photocopy my bike papers and write my details which I did,and I was told I will receive a call on Wednesday to come for the plate number papers and other documents,I don't see call, and I called the number given to me but once they know I was the one calling they will say they will call back which they won't,if I try the line again through the day it will never connect, PLEASE I NEED HELP I'm a student struggling for survival, I've had enough from these people please HELP ME

You've spoken well, but knowing them can't be compare to doing the right thing. I have a top military personnel more like a brother. I have used him twice, tho in cases I have too. One was plate number issue with police and the other was covid lock down. I don't feel comfortable calling him on issues like such again.

I have a lasma friend that have bailed me out twice without any kobo. In fact he will jump to meet me at the scene. Same not feeling comfortable.

I made a FRSC friend, not so top oga and above staying on the road. Nigeria has happened to my plate number and they said is 25k to change it. I'll change it like a procrastinator is taking forever. And why I don't really bug about all these things is because, most of the stress is on the mainland. Once you cross over to the island. Ma lastma, ma police, ma road safety... they barely disturb. Long story short. The man has given me a go ahead to call him any time. Once those ones at isheri road bring out there ugly head, I just call him and pass the phone to them. Did that for couple of times and start feeling unease.

With time I just don't feel OK calling anyone like that, not me being proud. As a man to man, I'll relate with whoever and I try not to be stupid. How do I explain that I was caught driving one way or brt lane cheesy

Some policemen ehn you don't need to offend or fault in anything before their start their usual display... For example, the ones around Okene on the road to Abuja. Those ones no need make your papers no complete. E fit be because you wear red shirt barb punk for head. Dem go just hold you down. Some fit be say because you photocopy your drivers license join car papers. Them go just start, thats when your personels come in.

I've seen cases on Sagamu-Benin road where officers harass travellers for stupid reasons.

Boss man we will sha go home. I didn't even know the traffic exist as I use to stay back at Yaba till 10pm before going home. Since I finished around 5 yesterday, that was how I pick trip from Yaba to Ogba 4500 with 2hrs at most mindset. Spent almost 3 hours from MKO to Amara Olu. Rider even pity for me and gave me 5500, while she find her way. From Amara Olu to Omole phase 1 is another thing. As I check the map this afternoon and saw the situation is the same, I didn't bother coming out.

Yeah, I figured you stay around that area hence it's unavoidable. The Lord is your strength.

JB should do fast and complete that road, it's too much stress.

Wow
This car parts is really affordable, but what can you say about the car performance and how rugged is it for this hustle...
It holds it's own. Service as at when due. I only know my car and it knows me, I'm pretty hands on with minor repairs e.g changing serpentine belt, replacing radiator and fan, cleaning air filter, engine service etc.

A first time car user shouldn't go near a Benz for the hustle.

You are right. I've taken a trip with ride hailing price at 4800 and rider reduced it to 4000. I bid 4200 and got picked but I later canceled it.

I checked Rida again and it see that the ride hailing price is now 4200 and the wereh Rida reduced it further to 3800 and someone picked it immediately.

They are very inconsistent with their ride hailing price.

Some riders are just there to reduce the price. Whatever the suggestion is, they must reduce it.

That's how I picked a request yesterday on Rida going to Allen for 2500. Before I was done checking the map, the rider has canceled the order.

The map was saying 54 minutes to get to Allen from Ozone, Yaba. I would have canceled the ride anyway even if the guy didn't cancel but he just made it easier for me.

I just switched on Bolt and got a 1.8 surge request going to the same Allen with a stop at Buka Hut, Herbert Macaulay Way. At the end of the trip, the amount was 8500.

Now, the reason the id1ot canceled was because he thought he was overpaying at that 2500. The ride hailing price was 2300 and he increased it to 2500 earlier. After canceling my order, he now put up a new request and selected 2300. When no one was bidding, he called me that I'm taking too long to come.

I had to blast him to get the f_ck out of my phone. He thought I didn't know the game he just played.

That's how I would have been paid 2500 compared to the 8500 naira I got on Bolt.

Bolt still controls the ehailing market sha. Once it's surging on Bolt, Rida and Indriver become undesirable

on Thursday I parked at Jara mall and quickly went to the market to make enquiries about a gadget I need for church,I quickly zoom so as not to pay more than #400 for parking in jara mall, while inside the Market I already knew bolt was red all through so I'm waiting to get near my car and go back online and immediately i got inside Jara mall I went online and I got a trip to airport, ride indicate local airport but it'd later change to International airport on 1.9 surge. I was trying to pay for my ticket when i mistakenly accept a ride on indrive and immediately the client called me.. I saw the price I accepted to be #2100 from Lasuth to Magodo phase 2, I told the rider I'm far from him but he said no that he is close by in my mind I laughed and cancelled the order and I was charged by indrive whereas my trip on bolt ended #2800 in 12 minutes.... When there is Surge nothing like Bolt but the commission will humble you without surge.
