Manchester United have reached their 2nd Cup Semi-Final of the season. No other English team has reached as many this season.

Cup fever. 🏆

Ten Hag: “We did it, we are happy with the win. We showed great character. Every time this team comes out, they show the personality and the determination needed.”

Ten Hag: “Fulham are a good team and you have to be good to overcome them. I think we had a good first half. We had great moments in the attacking transition and we should have been two or three goals up.”

Ten Hag on the red card incidents: “I don’t want to emphasise that. It was a great counter attack but I think everyone saw it was handball.”

Ten Hag on facing Brighton in the semi-final: “The next [FA Cup] game is a long way away. The players will go away on the international break while we analyse the recent period. Then it’s about Newcastle, Brentford and Everton.” #MUFC

Ten Hag: “In possession, we could have been better. Out of possession, we were excellent. We came under pressure, gave away some set pieces and then conceded the goal. David de Gea kept us in the game after we conceded.”

Ten Hag on his players' condition: “This team has great character. We are mentally and physically fit, and I’m happy with our progress as a team.”

Ten Hag on Willian’s handball: “It was so clear and obvious. Handball in the box is a clear penalty. But it’s not for me to comment on them. It’s for me to talk about Manchester United and that’s it.”

Ten Hag on Marcel Sabitzer's return: “He had a great performance. We are glad he is back from injury. We will be playing a game every three days between now and the end of the season so we need as many fit players as possible.” #MUFC

ETH did not look happy with the performance throughout the match. He also places a lot of emphasis on fast play quick transitions in his press conferences. I think that is what United will be under him.
Those fast quick transitions are becoming very annoying. We’re just giving the opponent the ball back to come at us. It’s fine if we’re playing better or equal teams, but teams we should control and teach football, it’s just annoying

Leyqute:
They’re controlling it, but with a weak mentality.

Bruno, Martinez and the others tasked with build up play don’t trust all the guys upfront not to lose the ball when they receive it in tight areas. That’s why they’re passing it around without any intent.
Them dey talk of build-up play and you dey mention Bruno shocked

We were fortunate Fulham lacked discipline. It was not even a controversial red card and pen. Not sure why Marco Silva and Mitrovic went crazy. Fulham completely controlled the match but they lost their head. Even if we had scored that Sancho goal at 1-1 I would still be worried about Fulham.

The team is clearly exhausted. This international break is coming at a good time. Hopefully some injured players will be available after it.

I really like Palhinha. That guy is a top midfielder
They're not exhausted anything

Call a spade a spade and quit making excuses for useless players. We've been playing like this tey tey

Even in the so-called Carabao finals, Newcastle was the better team just like Fulham today. We've been magically getting away with a lot of useless plays.

We've played nearly double the number of games Fulham has played this season. Played more matches than any other team in Europe. Add the injuries and suspensions it's not hard to see why fatigue can clearly set in. If you think I'm making excuses fine.

Pitiful and lucky performance. My suspection of Ten hagg not being a possession based manager is getting obvious. No midfield pattern of play or build up whatsoever. Wembley here we come.
LoL... He's a possession manager, just that he doesn't have those players at United. Very few players are good with the ball at their feet and that's why he always sets the team up to play counter-attack which is the strength of these bunch of clueless players.

That's why it seems Sancho, Antony and co are struggling. There's not much difference between this team and Ole's counter-attack team except for a few buys and tweaks from ETH

If you studied the game, you’ll notice that Bruno and Martinez were the ones tasked with buildup after the double red cards.

Seems like you’ve already made up your mind about this issue.

If not, you won’t start attacking Bruno in reply to me when all I did was point out that buildup play from the back shifted to Bruno later on in the game.

Tho we are not there yet but these boys are doing their best, cut them some slack please. We have played more matches than Fulham plus the fact that a key player is red carded and others on injury. Thank God the international break is here now the boys can rest

at this stage of the season, you take the wins literally because that's what counts.
people don't consider other factors, which is just mischief in plain sight. we can't act like we don't know where this team was 8 months ago.
the team has played some good football in periods this season, controlled games with and without possession (Spurs & City), showed patterns of play and generally done the basics (run/effort) which was looking like rocket science last season. it's a big psychology leap even for the fans.
we have played this amount of games with 16 players more or less.

Bombblacks:
We play the ball forward very quickly looking for transition and that has nothing to do with the personnels in midfield. It comes from the coach instructions and any team is going to struggle to retain possession when you play like that. I'm not convinced we want to be a possession based team by the way we play. Even when we had Eriksen, We don't set up to control the game.
One thing I’ve noticed about ten hag is he is a result based manager and not a die hard possession playing manager like pep. If ten hag was a die hard possession based manager we would be struggling with Chelsea at the 10th position or even battling relegation because we don’t have the players to play that kind of foot and if he attempts it,it’s going to be susicde.I think What he is doing now is setting up the team based on the players he has available and their strengths also trying to change our style of play at the same time.
If there is a change of ownership in the summer I’m hoping Qatar, and he gets at least 2midfilders,1striker a cb only then can we see the ten hag of Ajax. Even at that we shouldn’t expect us to be dominating all games ten hag would rather play nonsense and win a game than play possession football and lose.

Good morning Title-Pretenders. You should be more worried about Newcastle knocking you to 4th with your half a dozen goal difference.

🚨 - Koeman: "No Frimpong? This is because of the system that we play in. He plays almost as a right winger. My right back should be able to defend well in the first place and I have my doubts about that."
