muykem:Was there any igbo interference in your Lagos politics? A national has right to vote and be voted for so why all these malicious statements? An Igbo man resides in Lagos, pay rents and taxes in Lagos then I believe that same igbo man has the right to vote his preferred candidate in that same Lagos until the law would state otherwise. Have you ever seen an igboman interfering in choosing an Oba in Lagos state? Choosing your chiefs is your local politics and an igboman will never interfere but as far as electioneering is concerned then the igboman will exercise his civil right by voting his choice and you people can do the worst you feel like. As long as we remain ”one Nigerian” then that igboman will perform his civil responsibility anywhere he finds himself within Nigeria. |

AustineE1:I am yet to know why,it is always tinubu's turn, people tend to make the loudest noise......Atiku went to the north telling them they should vote only their own, isn't that tribalism?Obi went from one church to the other making sure he didn't go to any mosque, isn't that a religious bigot...let's learn to say things when it affects everybody and not only when we are directly affected |

Penalty82:No, he is not. What ibo people did leading to the election would have resulted in their massacre if the location was anywhere in sharia North. The fact that ibo is still going around today doing business in Lagos proves that Yoruba are peaceful. You could not tell a people on their own land that you will conquer and rule over them and not get killed. Nowhere in entire Africa will tolerate that. |

Pierocash:Igbos have faught this war before and if we test it on Yorubas again I don't think it will be a bad call. One of them was telling me yesterday that since tinubu and sanwolu has won their selection, that we Igbos should watch out how they will collect the lands they sold to us back, that of we want development, we should go to Anambra state and do that not Lagos. You can imagine |

windvane:So obi wasn't going to church before campaign, besides Muslims have their rules and I don't think Peter obi can just step into the mosques like that. Secondly Peter obi has never been to the mosques before, imagine he now starts going to the mosques just because of politics, that would be hypocrisy. |

Pierocash:Truth. First of all an average Yoruba man is afraid! This is a statement of fact. Them no get mind reach igbo. Secondly, the Yorubas claim they are educated but their actions contradict this claim. How do you explain a leader who has a controversial educational history emerging as president among a tribe that has professors, Drs other professionals of high repute? Thirdly, a classic yoruba man, especially the ones on the streets, the urchins, the artisans, the touts, the thugs believes in tokenism. How can you accept to scatter an election just for 5k, 10k or even 20k? At the risk of your own life? Now, let's enter the Niger Delta, boys here collects 500k and above to even engage in any sort of violence. Be it electoral or otherwise. Now, I for one do not support, partake or condone violence. But we all know these things exist. From the foregoing, if a full blown ethnic war breaks out do you think lagos can survive it? No one has the monopoly for violence. Take note, "strangers" are more in number in Lagos than natives. Let us be guided. War isn't an option. Seek peace Now. |

Good move and comment. HOWEVER, the excellent stateman position should be to also tell the Igbos not to trigger or pinch the Yorubas with their rubbish talk and run around claiming VICTIMIZATION like a spoilt brat. |

muykem:U are not well at all. Voting is the right of everyone and listen Mr. Man,the more u make comments like this, the more foolish u appear. Did anyone stop Yorubas in Enugu from voting...did u ever heard such? We igbos troup out in our numbers and voted Ireti hear in Abuja as well as other tribes but u continued in your hate when it is obvious this has never favoured u in any way. You are just after tribal supremacy and nothing more. Be careful before u will run mad with this ur hate. |

Fut9ure:Peter Obi was an Igbo project. He failed as a governor but suddenly became a darling of the east when he picked up candidacy of a party. He was vastly unpopular in the North from North West to North East and of course North Central. Not only that, his adherents are uncouth and unhinged. |
