Babangida is Nupe
Where you for hear that one
Niger state does not have any indigenous Fulani. I am 100% sure they have no indigenous Hausa as well.

He is Nupe.

There is this false assumption that every Northerner is either Hausa or Fulani. Bornu state alone has over 50 tribes and many are even Christians like the Chiboks

Fulani are actually not indigenous to any state in Nigeria. Their history of migrations is well known.
The present governor is Fulani as well and there are indigenous Hausa in the Kontangora axis.

That said, Babangida self-identified as Fulani in his book. So except you've got better evidence, I don't think you can argue with a man on his ancestry.

You do have a point. I never knew there were those who see themselves as Hausa and Fulani in Niger state.

You profile someone you have no knowledge of based on hear-say and expect me to take you seriously? Why crying more than the bereaved?

Niger state is made up of 3 Zones. Zone A is made up of Nupes, Zone B made up of Gbagis/Hausa and lastly, Zone C is made up of Hausas.
Babangida is everything but Nupe.
Do not bother objecting, you are talking to a Nigerlite whose family residence is a stone throw from Hilltop.
