Epl side Brighton and Hove Albion rumoured to be interested in USG’s highly rated Nigerian attacker Victor Boniface for a possible transfer on the summer

Great place for him in my opinion. Allows him the opportunity to grow and develop while playing the best teams in the world. Can't also get a big move from there if he impresses

Oracle says 1-1 or 2-1!

Okay! A last minute winner 2-1 to the Eagles!

I hate that they've put a pause to the consistency we were having with the age grade teams. We saw how 2013 to 19 u17 were that produced Nacho, Nwakali, Osimhen and Co. Now, it's like the old men are clamoring and some fellows in nff are in support of return to the retrogressive old ways of mendem in age grade levels.

Senegal have been consistent for too long with doing it the right way now that they are too good for even our old mendems at the u20 AYC.

Bro if you know the amount of power foreign agency/agent/academy has over our grassroots football

You’ll know these things will not change in the foreseeable future.

Yes yes yes yes

This what we called growth.
You don’t have to be on the youth national team to have exposure.

If teams can be going to tourneys like this, no need to pass through u17,19,23 then abroad.

This way less academy will be forcing players on the national youth teams

2-0 eagles 🦅

Not because i love them but because the voices and cries of the masses and fans were heard during press conference.
All that the fans were crying about was asked to the captain and head coach.

They know if they don’t deliver na Lagbaja nothing for you

Senegal was not too good for them. Ahh! I bet you did not watch the match. Although we did not play well Senegal was average at best too. The Senegalese were just lucky. Their teams won mostly on penalties. So rest!

I was so angry because there was no team and i beat my chest that no team Nigeria would have lost to in that tourney if we picked the right personnel

Senegal was an eyesore
Look at who we lost 1-0 to god abeg o

yes that’s true but they can sign him and still loan him out until he has enough caps to qualify to play in the epl same way they did with caicedo and mitoma

Also USG and Brighton has good working relationship

Moreover na as I see the report na wey I post

It's one of the reasons I want all the young promising and quality upcoming players to be given at least 3 caps by the SE as quick as possible so that they can play for both mid-table and lower positioned teams in the EPL or championship.

But people here will be screaming "his time will come" or "his too young for the SE".

The Nairaland forum sports section has always been a platform for sports enthusiasts to discuss their favorite sports, share news, and engage in healthy debates. Unfortunately, the once peaceful and vibrant forum has been taken over by unruly members who insult people at the slightest provocation. This behaviour is not only unacceptable but also reflects poorly on the community as a whole.

The sports section of the Nairaland forum should be a safe space where people can come together to discuss their passion for sports. It should be a place where people can share their opinions without fear of being attacked or insulted. Unfortunately, the behavior of these unruly members has turned it into something completely different.

It is important to remember that the Nairaland forum is a community, and every member has a responsibility to ensure that it remains a welcoming and respectful place for everyone. The behaviour of a few individuals can have a significant impact on the community as a whole, and it is up to us to make sure that we do not allow that behavior to thrive.

As members of the community, we should all take a stand against this kind of behaviour. We should speak out against those who insult others and make it clear that such behaviour is not acceptable. We should also report any abusive or offensive posts to the moderators so that they can take appropriate action.

It is important for the moderators to be proactive in dealing with this issue. They should enforce the forum's rules and regulations and take appropriate action against those who violate them. This could include warnings, suspensions, or even bans, depending on the severity of the offense.

The Nairaland forum sports section is an important platform for sports enthusiasts to come together and share their passion for sports. He wants to keep on wearing the mask as a trademark.

Possibly for rest of career.

Iheanacho does not press and looses the ball easily. We struggle badly whenever we play Iheanacho in that role. Moffi should have started instead! I am not so optimistic. Guinea Bissau is a much better team than the Leone star which we struggled to defeat in the same Abuja! Don't raise your hope too high. I do not want to see tears on the TL abeg!

this is not the first time he has been deployed there. These coaches do not want to change at all.

I am not expecting an easy match. The return leg in Morocco is likely to be easier due to the quality of the pitch there.

Reims striker Folarin Balogun is ready to leave Arsenal this summer.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims that “many, many clubs" are interested in signing Balogun this summer.

He said: “There are really many, many clubs interested in Folarin Balogun. But we have to remember it's still March and not time to decide the next move.

“Arsenal director Edu will meet with Balogun's agents in May/June to prepare the market and decide together.

"For sure, Balogun wants to play
