The issue here is that a non UK citizen brought (paid) someone from outside the country to donate an organ. It is called organ harvesting. It is illegal and attracts up to 10 years in imprisonment.

Everyone involved in the crime will be prosecuted.

Even if the young man didn't report it, the physician would also have reported it to the authorities once he noticed any irregularities. He has a duty to do so.

Very correct, and the IKE did not explain to the guy the likely negative impact including death he might face during or after the operation. The boy got this info at the interview.

Plus, at the interview they found out he does not have the money for the possible life long care he will need after the operation.

Therefore, though he was a medical match for their daughter, but he did not match the criteria an altruistic organ donor hence he was rejected, which is no fault of his.

The maltreatment back at the residence after the failed interview was what forced him into that police station and the rest as we know it is history.

One wonder while IKE didn’t take him to turkey or one of those Asian countries where they can it without ensuring the donor meets donor criteria? I know UK was trying to work on a law to punish their citizens who go abroad to buy organs because of the scarcity at home, but I doubt if that law is in the books now.

That's the greatest disease of the black man, irrespective of tribe, creed or religion - Greed. Greed is a diseases that causes death and poverty to all around us, it is responsible for the death of thousands of expectant mothers, children and adults dying of simple curable diseases. It is responsible for lack of water, light and simple amenities that's taken for granted in other places.

If Ekwerenmadu had been less greedy and offered the boy a mere £20,000 to resettle himself in London, the boy would not have needed to go to the police station to avoid being depleted. If Ekwerenmadu had been less greedy and helped his kinsmen, his fellow law makers and his extended family, i am sure he would not have been abandoned like an orphan, and Nigeria would have used diplomatic channels to help him.

The UK doctor didn't misled Ike. The boy's kidney was not eventually harvested simply because his kidney didn't match not because he failed the interview. Everything was perfect until Ekeremadu's family started maltreating the boy.
