Exactly, you can achieve both. That's the difference between here and developed country.

Davido displayed a lot of passion and interest in the elections leading to his uncle's election as governor. I just wish given his interest in the elections, and possibly the welfare of the people, he would also realise that his lavish lifestyle (though it's his choice) can actually fund projects for his people in Osun. When you really connect with the ordinary folks around the state, including deep in the villages, you will definitely feel guilty 'wasting' funds on some hobbies and personal desires.
Just one trip on a private jet costs enough to sink boreholes and get drugs for a primary healthcare facility. But how much do some people really care! Perhaps such never crosses their minds, and that's why I am saying it here for everyone to actually see it as it is.

And yes.. The Jackson mentioned up there is none other than our own Governor Nurudeen Ademola Jackson Adeleke

Many have had opportunities unimaginable to you but have not looted, and are living in peace and with goodwill (a transferable asset) from their people. Generations after them in their lineage will continue to enjoy such goodwill.
It is not everybody that is moved by the temptation to loot. If it were so, I am sure you know you won't have a place to call your country. So have that in mind.

Nigerians are very easy to amuse and please and the politicians know exactly what button to press.
People have gotten so used to the countries problems, they now accept them as normal.
Not one of the Governorship candidates in any State including Lagos, made any effort to say how they will make pipe borne water for all homes a reality. Imagine in the year 2023, people still digging borehole and buy water from Mallams. Let's not even discuss those in the rural areas going to fetch water at the river. Over 2000 years after a city like Rome had pipe borne water to its homes.
Not one of the Presidential candidates explained how they will eradicate bandits and kidnappers and defeat Boko Haram.

Now see a Governor and Minister ( different parties) dancing when it's not Friday or a party at an event where millions have been wasted just to rent the tent, print pamphlet, and buy snacks for the guests; and the citizens are shining their 32 saying " that's my Governor, I love my Governor, he always makes me happy" Is he a jester? Is that what he was elected and is being paid billions to do?

Today, the first anniversary of the terrorist attack on the train in Abuja, with no one arrested or charged despite the many killed. Same Minister under whose watch, prison after prison was broken into across the country, and prisoners escaped.

Weeks after the election, the Elect is already resting abroad. Not one summit or strategic meeting on solving the glaring problems. Even the simple one of people paying N500 to send N5000.

Even the Opposition is confused. N25 Million to get ordinary nomination form for Governor , not campaign funds o; and you think the next
Governor wont steal? Or maybe they are not confused; its normal normal.

Point of correction, dancing or being a happy person doesn't hinder one from performing his responsibility as a politician even though those that appear to us with serious faces are doing the worse privately.
Meanwhile, the governor has performed well in his first 100 days in office and promises to do better in the remaining days of his tenure.
One of his achievements is finding a solution to the water problem by sinking a borehole in each of 332 wards in Osun state and many of the projects he had embarked on.
So, if you see osun people shining their 32 cos of their governor, remember you're able to see their 32 because of the light(imole) he brought to his people.

You might as well call Gov Adeleke Chinedu, because his mom is Igbo and he speaks fluent Igbo.

Happy with him? Why?
He has provided portable water to all homes?
Upgraded the poultry like primary schools to international standard?
Has stopped massive corruption by civil servants?
Stopped all forms of armed robbers invading homes?
Provided succour to the hundreds of thousands of jobless youths?

Our standards are so low

So, you want him to turn Osun state to paradise within how many months?
No wonder you chase Jonathan away and now you're enjoying Apc and Bubu government.

We believe in his mandate.
If you meet 10 people in Osun and asked them about him, trust me 8 out of 10 will say positive things about him.
He won't dare to perform woefully because he knew what ended the previous administration.
That's what we do in Osun state, If you do nonsense, you will be voted out.
We wish him outstanding success.
Let him dance and perform well, dancing is better than looting afterall.

I don't doubt that people love him or support him. Millions supported other leaders in the past too in different states.
The problem is Nigerians have set the bar so low; what we call performance is sad to be honest.
With all the potential of Nigeria, we are stuck as a 3rd world country. People celebrate boreholes in 2023. Emergency numbers and real ambulances don't exist despite trillions spent by the FG and many State Governments.
They build so called world class hospitals and schools, yet they go overseas with their families for school and medical treatment. And the people continue to hail them.

I understand you very well, but the truth is that this man and his family have been doing well since day 1 in Osun state, starting from the first executive governor of Osun state who was the elder brother to Ademola Adeleke (Isiaka Adeleke).
When some bad and cruel governors are hiding palliatives during Covid-19, Adeleke's family as ordinary citizens after robbing their son mandate is giving away free relief materials where Mr Tinubu and his brother Oyetola can't share ordinary water with the citizens but to denied and hide the palliative.
Can you now see the difference?

Adeleke is seen coaching the minister on how to dance in the video shared on Twitter.
