If someone don't have all these credit card how then can one build credit score? Where do they expect one to take loan from and build credit score if not from them...give a jjc answer please cos this whole credit thing is confusing I don read thread tire

Lexusgs430:

AMEX - Β£6,600 (would be your max).....

Do you have a very good credit score.......

If yes, try MBNA, Virgin Money or NatWest....... They would offer you over Β£10,000 credit limit.........

Would you lend money to someone, you cannot trace ........🀣

And what would be your measure, to judge the borrower's ability to payback + apr to issue....... πŸ˜‚

How do you reward people that have been good with credit and punish those that have been reckless.......🀠

You all talk about '' TRUST ISSUE'S ''..... Assuming I asked you to lend/borrow (Grammar no be my language), me Β£2500..….... How would you feel ......πŸ˜‚

Start by putting your name on the voters list, registering your rental payments, having utility bills in your name, piggybacking on someone with a credit card etc etc ........

I hope I have not further confused you ......😜🀣

You sure say you don read thread tire? Lool... Give it time, like 2 years for a great credit score if you do things right but whenever you need a loan, go for it, you should get it however high the interest may be.

This credit score thing is not that serious, trust me. Getting a credit card helps but not as much as you think. There are more important factors.

UK Banks and lenders do NOT even look at that credit score you are killing about. They check the factors that make you look responsible and less liable to default. I will get a Lloyds article to help you:

If people in that same Canada and Australia tell you what they are going through you will remain in UK. The thing is we always feel one country is better than till we get to find ourselves in the country we so look forward to. People are migrating from Canada after getting PR and people are also migrating from Australia. People moved everyday...my brother in Germany will complain about living in there, the other in USA will complain, the one in Finland will complain...abeg make everybody stay where them power catch cos the country you think say good pass all people full there still dey complain about the country.

rinzylee:
I was telling my junior colleagues at work that it's shameful that I can not get free or even subsidized viewing of Premier league in the very country where it is domicile.

They all concurred and said they heard its almost next to nothing, the price for cable TV to watch games.

Well I didn't tell them I stream all live matches on my laptop, I simply use HDMI cord and watch on my Tv. No be me my village people go send back because these people and gossip na bread and butter grin grin.

The UK is a stingy, unfair and hypocritical system.

Some days I wake up and literally want to run to Australia or Canada. Strength to write exams never dey, the day morale falls on me, I dust my clinical texts.

How una dey?

Great points.

Ease of life is relative though and depends on what one calls supreme.

The most important thing is making the most of where we are but certainly, UK is a harder clime compared to Australia and Canada especially as a Medical professional. I can't say so much about other people.

We will be alright.

That is part of the reason Nigeria, remains a fantastically corrupt shithole ........

The insurance sector of a country/economy, forms a core sector, not an optional element ......πŸ˜‚πŸ€£

NB : If you drive a car without adequate insurance cover....... Expect some or a combination of this ......

- Big fine
- Prison sentence
- Points on your licence
- immigration status revocation/deportation
- Vehicle seized + collection tax imposed

Imagine been involved in a accident, resulting in the loss of a life (expect the extreme of above listed consequences).........πŸ˜…

If you cannot afford to insure a car, buy a bicycle 🚲🚲🚲🚲.....πŸ₯΅πŸ˜œ

Chai...Nsogbu really wear cover shoe for the matter.
Thanks for this insight.

Make 9-japa mentality remain on this soil where it belongs immediately men board their flights then.

How about those living in University accommodation and paying their tuition and rent with Form A? Are there ways to build their credit scores since their major expenses are not done via UK banks? Please advise.
