Depend on the country of the beneficiary. But it takes nothing less than 15 years. It can be longer depend on the country.
The earlier you file the better.

Abort mission. It's even faster for you to file for your parent and have that parent file for your sibling. The category would depend on your sibling's age.
Better still, just sponsor your sibling to Canada jejely.

My brother filled for me August 2019. I got a welcome email 2022 Feb.
I have not heard from them since then but the welcome mail gave me my logging details and showed me what my next step is which is to make payment but that step is on hold.

Mine is 19 Aug. 2016. They have not sent anything. I think they stopped at 8Aug.2016 from the bulletin. So u can't start anything until they get to feb 2017

Baba, March 23 2007 et al folks haven't moved on for nearly two years now. Add more ten years to that thingy. Many have followed Mexico, others are in the UK or Canada.

Yeah. My mum became a USC while our petition was pending so we were supposed to be in the F11 (Unmarried son or daughter of U.S. citizen) category eventually but we wrote them and opted to remain in the F24 (Unmarried son or daughter of lawful permanent resident) category since it was the fastest moving visa category at the time.
