"Saudi Arabia and other OPEC+ oil producers on Sunday announced further oil output cuts of around 1.16 million barrels per day, in a surprise move that analysts said would cause an immediate rise in prices and the United States called inadvisable." If you are a Nigerian from oil producing states and before you celebrate, ask yourself this question: Who benefits from this cut in oil production? The short is the Northern Nigerian Muslims. The only good news out of this, Northern Nigeria states are not developing in direct proportion to money they have amazed over the years. Their schools are in terrible state. Kidnapping of citizens has skyrocketed. Terrorisms have re-emerged and territories once lost have been recaptured. Bottom line is Northern Nigeria profits from oil money is individualism. The population in general has not felt the positive impact of Nigeria oil wealth. Thank God! |

YeyeGbami:Refineries don't work in Nigeria due to Nigerians putting square pegs in round holes at the apex political leadership of Nigeria. Nigeria is a country which has earned more than a trillion dollars from oil in the last 60 years but can't refine enough crude oil to service its economy. We point accusing fingers to Oyibo colonial masters and other Western nations for our inability to sustain the refineries built by Oyibo in Nigeria, instead of pointing fingers to ourselves for our choice of inept leaders to man the affairs of Nigeria. |

God1000:Consider this, Russia's economy, that's under Western Sanctions is poised to grow by 0.5% this year. UK's economy is expected to shrink this year. You know why Russia is growing despite 27,000 sanctions by the west? China. There FX is now priced in Yuan. |

Regex:Saudi Arabia is the most influential Muslim dominated nation in the world. They're also the most influential in the OPEC block. There's nothing, including in defence that US is currently offering Saudi Arabia that China can't. For example, China is Saudi Arabia's largest trading partner. China has the largest Naval Force (Warships and Men) in the world. If Saudi Arabia successfully influences OPEC nation pricing their commodity in Yuan instead of Dollars. It'll sink the US Dollars. This is exactly why China has been Cozying up to Saudi in the past year. |

God1000:If not because of Democrats green revolution, a barrel of oil won’t be more than 30$,America has capacity to produce 25 million barrels a day but won’t do it because of environmental problems Donald Trump pumped just 13 million barrels a day and oil crashed to minus -10$ |

NakedTruth4eva:China wants peace so they can continue to trade to all and sundry. The saudi-Iran peace deal was a big deal and kudos to China for making it happen. We pray it last though I'm skeptical. China is also looking at brokering a deal btw Russia and Ukraine. If they can pull it off, China will position itself as a true world leader that the rest of the world can look up to. America will still remain relevant but will have to adjust to the new reality of just being an option. |

Upworkwriter007:One of the main reasons that lead to the demise of the unipolar world was the lack of trust in the West because of it's recklessness, tyranny and oppression. The world has learnt it's lessons, sovereign countries were subdued, others were set on the path of vanquishing and now, they've chosen to embrace a multipolar world instead of flirting with the neocolonialist tentacles of hegemony. This: "It will back fire because China is not reliable. They manipulate thier currency sometimes." is a response to the undeniable fact that more rupture in the relationship between Saudi Arabia and the US is beneficial to China. There are two sentences in that statement. The first one is: It will backfire because China is unreliable. The second one is: China manipulates it's currency sometimes. It is a vague, ambiguous and uneducated statement. Is China unreliable because of it's currency regulations? The fact that China is the major trading partner of Saudi Arabia would contradict that statement. If the author of that response was referring to Millitary cooperation reliability, did the US abandon it's "allies" in Afghanistan Yes or No? Yes. Vietnam nko? Yes ![]()

When they did not cut what did Nigeria gain? When other countries were making a windfall from oil prices due to the Russia Ukraine war, we started hearing of crude oil theft, that was the only thing were hearing Crude oil theft to explain why Nigeria did not make a windfall. Evil people. Enslavers. God punish all of you |
