China wants peace so they can continue to trade to all and sundry. The saudi-Iran peace deal was a big deal and kudos to China for making it happen. We pray it last though I'm skeptical.
China is also looking at brokering a deal btw Russia and Ukraine. If they can pull it off, China will position itself as a true world leader that the rest of the world can look up to.
America will still remain relevant but will have to adjust to the new reality of just being an option.

One of the main reasons that lead to the demise of the unipolar world was the lack of trust in the West because of it's recklessness, tyranny and oppression.

Is China unreliable because of it's currency regulations? The fact that China is the major trading partner of Saudi Arabia would contradict that statement.

The effect on the dollar is positive. This simply means that the market need more dollars (increase demand for dollar) which will consequently hike the exchange rate as buyers compete for more dollar
