I think they delivered according to plan. They knew PMB was not going to interfere in the election. They also had a pound of flesh to take from BAT and governors who messed them up during the party primaries.

Atiku failed to settle in-house grievances. He lost traditional PDP votes in the SE and SS. Maybe he was overconfident that he would overrun BAT in NW.

The NW governors and their political structure are the MVP of the 2023 elections.
