Tinubu case in the U.S was around the same time Abacha came to power and Abacha fought drug dealers in Nigeria to a stand still at some point, drug dealers were not feeling safe in Nigeria.

That is why I am telling you things away from what the media tries to portray, Abacha was not a saint but I can tell you he had his good sides and he was way better than most politicians we have at the national level today.

If you are talking of tyranny, are most of these politicians not tyrants, look at Wike, Tinubu, Chimaroke, Uzodinma, Yahaya Bello and so on even in a democratic settings are doing all these.

Just imagine if they had half the power Abacha had to do and undo, don't you think Abacha's tyranny will be a child's play, and mind you most of Abacha's tyranny was not done to the masses, only people he felt were a threat to his government, drug dealers because of illicit funds and fraudsters, Abacha fought fraudsters to a stand still, even wonder banks back then.

Nigeria was way better in so many aspects and there was nothing like militants or boko haram or kidnappers and so on.

First you must debunk and rebuke the lies you heard about Late Gen. Sani Abacha (4star), those lies were pedelled and propagated by people like the Drug peddling president-elect. Why?

Because Abacha was not involved and wouldn't allow anything like drug smuggling and other criminalities. MKO Abiola's imprisonment and death was not IBB or Abacha's fault but the making of those who SERVED HIM TEA.
Contrary to popular belief, IBB and Abiola were BEST OF FRIENDS who visited each other frequently. Abiola was romancing with the Millitary regimes otherwise how come he was a millionaire in a socialist nation like Nigeria?

Like I said earlier, Abacha fought drug dealers in Nigeria, Abacha would have arrested Tinubu if he was aware of his drug case in the U.S, look at the case file below and see the year and timeline of when Tinubu was been investigated and the court forfeiture, Abacha was against people using drug money to fight his government, Tinubu may have been a goner by now.

Tinubu had to run to avoid Abacha locking him up, like I said earlier, If a whole Shonekan was not locked, why Tinubu? were there not other politicians who remained in Nigeria and Abacha never went after them.
