Kante is just coming back from injury and he must be protected to avoid another injury. Chelsea got Madrid to play and we would need him.

Kovacic is not a complete midfielder, I am not his huge fan. A midfielder isn't expected to score in every match but when opportunity comes he's supposed to score. Kovacic isn't doing that, he's too wasteful in front of goal. Yaya Toure, Lampard, Gerrald, Iniesta etc during their time score whenever they have opportunity. Modric, De Bruyne are doing that presently.

I don't rate Kovacic as a world class midfielder, he should be flushed out!
