I think a little sanity has returned. And it feels really good. You must look into Mynd44, a few too many have complained about him being biased, and I personally know this to be true.

I hope your efforts to bring nairaland back to its best days produce results. It is obvious the ruling class is using this place as a tool to drive ethnic/religious divide amongst Nigerians. And for so long I was sad about NL's seeming helplessness against it. But thankfully, you are rising to the fight.

Good evening.

1.There is a reduction in overt ethic slurs on the site.

2.However, there is still the problem of people mocking a whole tribe on threads reporting on crime committed by Nigerians at home or abroad.(eg Crime commited from tribe X: Na dem).

3.There is also the issue of threads which are basically about how for example....Yourbas hate Igbos, Igbos are the most persecuted, Yourbas are being attacked...etc.

In my experience, Mynd44 is a very fair mod. He does do his best.

I see a lot of calls to remove Mynd44 from moderator duties. I think he is a fair moderator, and does a good job most of the time. He should please be allowed to stay.

On the topic, there are some other issues that need addressing

1.Members can get very abusive at times. That needs to be curbed

2.Something needs to be done about sports betting ads, ads for 'visas' ads offering to change or alter ID in return for payment in bitcoin and also nairalanders who beg for money on this site, and open monikers to do so.

For example, I have been banned almost 2 times in the last few days by the anti-spam Bot for some statement that is not even a slur. Yet, there are still some moniker openly abusing using tribal slur that are left unbanned.

I usually don't care about them remaining here but I just don't like selected justice especially when you are openly biased against Tinubu supporters judging from how you went to openly acknowledge wrongly it's mostly Tinubu supporters that are toxic.

Back to your question, YES, tribal slurs did reduced a bit since you started taking action. Just make sure you are balanced in the enforcement.
