I really must commend the states that attracted foreign direct investments, despite how Buhari and APC have run down Nigeria's economy. It takes a lot of guts for foreign companies to invest in economy with a steadily depreciating local currency and disposable income. With the global image of Tinubu as a drug baron, foreign companies will further severe their planned investments in Nigeria. The next administration has to do a lot of work to convince them to bring their money to Nigeria like Olusegun Obasanjo used to do back in the day. 126 Likes 14 Shares |

Anambra attracted more FDI than other SW states put together minus Lagos. Anambra FDI is 12 times greater than Oyo. In 2021, Abia was 3rd Nationwide behind Lagos and Abujy. 2022 Anambra is 4th behind Lagos, Abuja and Akwa Ibom 171 Likes 13 Shares |

Not surprised, only a foreign investor who wants to die if heart attack would invest in a country as highly insecure as Nigeria 64 Likes 7 Shares |

XerXers: I don’t know which data you are looking at. Below is 2021 data from Cable and Anambra did not even come close to Osun let alone the remaining SW states outside Lagos. —Osun: $29.9 million —Anambra: $4.7million Source: https://www.thecable.ng/kaduna-enugu-24-states-attracted-zero-foreign-investments-in-2021/amp 86 Likes 14 Shares

SmartPolician: I don’t know if you guy think before commenting. Lagos has consistently gotten over >60% of the FDI inflow into Nigeria and according to you guys, Tinubu is the alpha and omega in Lagos which implies that the foreign investors would have known his past history before they bring their money to Lagos. If they can trust him in Lagos with their money, why won’t they trust him when he becomes president? All those Lekki free trade zone, Eko Atlantic, and etc generate huge massive FDI for Lagos and they are the brainchild of Tinubu. Besides the low budget brewery Obi brought to Anambra, what other foreign investment can he boast of while he was governor? 109 Likes 13 Shares |

What type of foreigner would invest a Dollar in Nigeria where blood flows on the streets due to the activities of Jihadists? The major plot of the ruling government of Nigeria is on how to use Nigeria's political process and its armed forces to make Nigeria become an Islamic Republic at the long run, the Taliban method in Afghanistan. 4 Likes 3 Shares |

Gombe generated N10.6 billion as IGR in 2021, followed by Ebonyi (N13.8 billion) and Bayelsa, an oil-producing state, generated N13.3 billion in 2021. Jigawa and Zamfara generated N16.5 billion and N18.9 billion, respectively. So Jigawa and Zamfara generated more igr than Bayelsa in 2021. Isorait 9 Likes 1 Share |
