If you're below 40, sha open a LISA with at least £1. In 13 months, a couple can get free £6k from the UK Govt for their house deposit, it's the biggest awoof

Make sure all angles of the document are feasible. Don’t crop it . Place it on a white paper .

I wouldn’t advice porting your main account as it would affect your CS so bad . Why not walk down the street , Create a bank account with any Main Street.

Most Main Street banks allows creating additional current account , Just port the new current account living you main account on their service .

Yeah,

April 1, 2022 - £2k
April 7, 2022 - £2k
April 7, 2023 - £2k

From April 1, 2022 to April 7, 2023 is less than 13 months. That's how marketers do Maths cheesy

Hello everyone

Please I need someone to explain the immigrant children in school rule and public funds.

Let's say I have 3 children one is 5 years the other 3 plus and 2 plus

Which one is eligible for free school and for the others what are they eligible for, how do I go about it and how do I avoid public funds. Tier 2 visa is my status

Thank you

New tax year begins today...

1.LISA...£4000

2.STOCKS AND SHARES ISA....£20,000

Start today to make good use of them..

The total ISA allowance is 20k. It's cumulative of all forms of ISA held.
Hence if 4k is put in a LISA, you can only put 16k in a S&S ISA

Last but not least!

If you withdraw cash from your lifetime ISA for any reason other than your first home purchase or retirement, you’ll have to pay the 25% government withdrawal charge. That means you could get back less than you paid in. 🙄

A SIPP is also a good investment vehicle. Yes, you'd have to wait but it's highly tax efficient. You get 20% tax relief initially. And if you're a higher or additional rate payer, you can claim an extra 20 or 25% respectively.
For a higher rate payer, youre effectively putting £12 to get £20 which is then invested.

For S&S ISA, what are you invested in - stocks, bonds, funds or a mix?

Don’t know much about tier 2 or other parts of UK. But in Scotland, the 5yr+ n 3yr+ are generally entitled to the free school (free hours) you talked about. For the 2yr+ to be in nursery, I think it has to be private till they turn 3.

I heard from a head teacher that people who pay tax get some % back from their private nursery payment ( 2yr+). Didn’t apply or research on this as I no want story then, plus was on study visa then. You can research on that, maybe you qualify.

l am currently happy with the NHS pension contribution

You don't have to move your pension contribution over, to a SIPP.......

A SIPP can stand alone, whilst you decide the destiny of your investment...... Claiming 25% from HMRC, on each contribution.....😜

You pay £9.99 each month, even if you put only £100 per month, you are still quids up .....😁

thank you.

Thinking of doing additional contributions into the NHS pension instead of opening SIPP

then open another S&S ISA for my wife

happy with the dividends l am getting from my S&S ISA NYSE stocks using my freetrade and trading 212 accounts
