I will advise that you create a group and ask others to join. Realistically, it is difficult to get a date without being part of a group. I have no need for the group again as I have booked a date already.

Please, I have a question. My CEAC status is showing READY. In as much, I have seen in a previous post that when it shows ready, I can fill out the DS160 form, book an interview appointment, do the medicals, and pay the fee, but in my case, I am applying from Europe. Can I still go ahead as I am not applying from Nigeria? Also, I read somewhere that some embassies usually request that some documents be sent to them before the interview in a letter that will be sent to the beneficiary; why some other embassies don't request this. So, I don't know if I should go ahead and submit the DS 160 form and schedule medicals and interview appointments. Please, all the pieces of advice will be appreciated.

Dont do medicals till you have your interview appointment booked. If you do not get interview letter from the embassy, you can still go ahead to schedule your appointment.

You don’t need to worry yourself about sending any documents to the embassy if you’re not asked or required to do so, just go ahead to pay the fee and fill your ds160, book appointment and schedule your medicals few weeks before your interview date and make sure you have all your papers intact as per your stay there and prepare for your interview.

please if you have a birth certificate from NPC already , do you still need attestation of birth?


You can visit the NPC office in Surulere (Babs Animashaun street) it shares same compound with the NYSC office in Surulere. There, you will be told all you need but be ready with your Passport Photo, Affidavit (from the court about your birth), Application for the attestation (they might give you a copy to guide you when you get there) and also payment for the attestation. I’m not sure what the price is now but if you visit the office, you will be guided properly.

If you have a birth certificate from NPC, you don’t need the attestation of birth. Attestation of birth is for those who don’t have the NPC birth certificate.

Hello everyone. Can anyone answer a few of my questions please?
First, can i request for my police character report in any state apart from Lagos?
Secondly, can i also request for attestation of birth anywhere apart from Lagos?
Thirdly, i heard some people have to wait for 8-10weeks for their tuberculosis test result after medicals. One person had to reschedule her interview for a later date. Please, does this apply to everyone?
