what you can do is
first step you either go to the security place which is a police station or look for one of those tech-savvy guys like Plaza boys to help you tracking , after tracking it they will get the phone for you. if it's already active then you simply arrest the person and finally gets the person to pay the bills for your tracking and also for the phone lost or return the phone if it's not damaged or still in the exact condition it was stolen or the person will remain in prison.

Recently my Samsung phone go stolen which is few month's old, and the second phone i got since my phone got stolen last year .
It was really painful as all attempt to use "find my device" has proved abortive , not even the Samsung version .. Plss does anyone here know an effective means which i can recover my stolen phone, I would really need all suggestions now thank you in advance for your help.

Sorry for your experience. I can imagine how frustrating this would be. I don't know a way to track the phone, but I can recommend you list it as stolen on www.itemregistry.com.ng.
For this, though you need the IMEI number, any chance you have it?

We set up @itemregistry to make it difficult for thieves to sell stolen phones, and we are hoping Nigerians can key in and search the platform before buying any second-hand device.

Basically, when you list the phone as stolen, anyone who searches for the IMEI number will see it has been reported stolen, this we hope will discourage second-hand buyers.

My phone was stolen yesterday. Boarded a bus from second rainbow to oshodi. The conductor distracted me with the door. I sat at the front. Someone was between me Nd the driver. Before I enter the bus the conductor agreed 150. I wanted to sit at the back but he asked me to sit at the front. On our way going he asked for the money. I gave him 150, he said it remaining 50. I told him I no get. Next thing he said the door didn't close. Na so we dey jam door on motion oo. We jam the door like 10-15times. Eventually the door closed. The conductor started asking for 50 again. Na so driver talk sey make i come out. Na so dey drop me drove off. Checking my pocket. My phone was gone. Thank God for life. Cos they were one chance. Assuming I agreed to pay the 200. Na another thing we go they talk. We were not many in the bus. Just Pity the lady on glass.
