Have you ever lived in Europe? I have lived in Europe and some African countries including Nigeria. The type of loneliness, rejection, discrimination and pressure you face in Europe, you can never face anywhere in Africa as an African. They're their because life back home is nothing to write home about and Europe offers more opportunity so they chose to stay behind at the expense of their mental health - talking from experience
I know lots of folks who live out in Europe who do so comfortably well too. So, as I said, this problem is person by person and behavioral. undecided

Just wondering why the guys will be crying in UK

Let me add, make Oyinbo friends, go to Old school bars, go to mostly white Bars & Clubs, less of Naija Rnb clubs because all your fellow Bobo would have run all the few Oyinbo babes there, if you meet Oyinbo babe for Bar, invite her over for a Cup of Tea, or ask if you can come over to hers for a Cup of Tea...Na Tea o... grin
**make sure you clear age talks early enough

Well little piece nuff said....

** No go dey follow Naija babe for UK o... majority of them too are thinking of how to get paper, so their tentacles are focused on white guys.

Where did I tell you people in Europe are not doing well? But there's no way to tell what a person is facing until they tell you. I mentioned Europe offers us more opportunity that's why lots of us has decided to stay behind at the expense of our mental health. It's not a personal issue - it's an environmental issue. If you choose to argue about something you don't understand bye bye

Why would not they cry?
They have no country to return to.
Their home country, Nigeria, is under threat by Islamic extremists using Nigeria's apex political leadership for Talibanization of the whole of Nigeria.

Dey play grin, will you use paper to travel? Money doesn't grow on a tree abroad cool. The reality of life there is no Eldorado anywhere

As a student I did a road trip from Cambridge to Glasgow, Scotland and got a return ticket for £46 and it was a 15hrs trip one way though we laid over in London for almost 4hrs.

That £46 was like what a student earned in a 4 hours shift, so it wasn't out of reach.

Not as easy as you think bro, you will understand when you find yourself in same position.

Many wouldn't mind jumping on the next available flight back to Nigeria, but on a second thought, what are you returning back to exactly.

The why are they complaining?

the way the system is designed is to keep the average people poor... it's the matrix.. you'll keep working and working and working while you forget yourself slowly... the taxes, the bills are designed in such a way you'll continue working as a slave till you die... this is why only until you break free from the matrix, and stop working as a slave, unlock your potentials that's when you start to enjoy life... but if you're still an NPC, doing what the average Joe does, you'll never amount to anything...

The Matrix, John Wick, Free City is trying to tell us the truth... but people aren't seeing it... When the guy in free city was still working as a slave (normal 9-5), he doesn't have time for himself or has any love life or any sources of income apart from that bank, he wanted to purchase a shoe with his salary, no matter how hard he works, didn't sustain him... until he was able to break free from the Matrix, that's when he started enjoying life and finally bought the shoe... most people are NPCs thinking they are free... it's a prison we design for ourselves and we night never break free because we are so dependent on the system, and powerful people made it so to keep the average person in control...

you may not believe it, but starting a good business in Nigeria is far better than oversees... at least for now... the taxes wahala, the laws to keep average people poor and in control, the bills, the known and unknown bills and restrictions ain't much here and you can easily scale up your business... but there.. you'll work and work and work and work till you have any sustainable income, and it will never be enough.... you need other sources of income, break free from the Matrix, think outside the box and stop consuming and doing what the average Joe does... most people think they are free or enjoying because they live in these cities that satisfies their illusions, but deep down, they are fvcking sad, depressed and tired... until you break free from your prison and anchors holding you down, you'll forever get stuck in this loop designed for the average person...

it is not about where you live or work, but how you live and work... people are still making it in this country till tomorrow, abi you want to tell me we don't have people suffering or homeless in overseas??.. it's about discipline, mindset and doing the right thing in order to win..

Perfectly said. The Uk and American systems are designed such that you would keep working all your lives under an atmosphere where everything works. It is a disguised slavery to keep making you work and pay back to the system via bills, taxes, loans and interests. But most do not realize this. Its a wages and salaries system that discourages entrepreneurship. You are a genius for this comment. A friend told ne exact thing months ago, in fact i thought he was the one that posted this sef. Nice one

nigerian students in uk always crying on social media. even the ones complaining were worse off in Nigeria. I know many bank tellers(people with salary not exceeding 150k per month) that japa. Yet they come on SM to form like their life was any better in naija. Once you japa give urself like 3 years b4 u can start enjoying the country you are in. swallow your shit, grow some balls and hustle till you good.

That is not a healthy approach to living on any coast. You need to learn how to make a home for yourself where you are rather than live postponing your joy for when you eventually make it back to some place else. That is something many Africans do which I notice people from other races/cultures don't do a lot of here. undecided

1. So, the same depression no dey Nigeria at all? Look, this is per person problem and should be treated as such. There are equally Nigerians out there who cannot stand a day in Nigeria as they find life there as depressing as hell. Do we then declare Nigeria a depressing place to be? undecided
At least after depressing they will still have light, drive for good road, get security and many other things.

They should all come back and swap with the people in Nigeria let us go and experience that suffering they are always talking about, they will never agree but keep on making noise.
