What Chinese cannot do in desperation for profit does not exist. I wonder what the world would turn into if they overtake the US as the new superpower as being widely speculated! |

Stupid Report. Why use the word Militants Rather than Bandits and terrorist as it suits the North. We all know what names every non state actors are known for in different regions of Nigeria. |

Lol, this is idiotic propaganda from ‘The Times’. Western countries also did the same thing during the Niger Delta militancy. However, the same language wasn’t used. At least, the Chinese aren’t training and funding these militants like the CIA and MOSSAD do across Africa to cause destabilisation whilst stealing the resources. They are only paying ransoms to secure the lives of their citizens. So, the onus is on the Nigerian government to protect investors and provide adequate security for them. Nothing to see here. |

henro4niger:Who did they enslave? And if Nigeria can’t provide the requisite security for them after signing a contract with them and taking their money - what do you expect them to do? You’re a m0ron, I’m sorry. If they’re safe, they won’t need to pay ransoms to homegrown militants. China should the one complaining. |

Creeper:You don’t know what’s going on they don’t pay ransom to secure live they are paying Ramson to safeguard the areas so security men will take the area as dead zone while Chinese work and mining resources free.... I have a military uncle that told me a lot of things about Sambisa Forrest he said they are many mineral resources there which the boko haram are use to guide the place while some people have accces to those resources a lot is going on in this country that people don’t know. Even in osun I have been paying this since 2015 because I witness it those set of Chinese were arrested but they are still many many of them I can bet you |

plantist:Common pension in france and millions came outnto protest and we are here fighting ourselves then you think corruption and incompetence will stop. Its the people who keeps the government on there toes not one tribe. How do you expect same calibre of people in buhari's government will suddenly turn a saint in tinubu's government. Worse part is hausa and fulani can never challenge the government and we in the south is fighting ourselves. Its a pity! |

Funkyswagzz:You can't keep abusing people from other tribes and expect those people who have been victims of your abuses to support a candidate of your tribal stock. You abuse a whole tribe and their son and you expect them to watch in akimbo. We don't burn bridges in order to have people supporting us. It is only when your people understand these fundamentals that you begin to see people supporting you. |
