Sounds pathetic that you have to go through loss of finances, including funds being trapped. Hopefully you recover your trapped fund.

Bitcoin is going strong at $30,800 from the $30,400 high of yesterday. You know what that means for MARA, RIOT and their likes in that industry.

If you are still holding CXAI, congratulations.
The last has not been heard of this stock. It looks ready to jump from yesterday’s $7.13 to somewhere above $10-$15!!! The beauty of this one is that it’s on Trove!

A well timed re-entry will do for those who exited yesterday.


Remember, Friday ushers in the weekend. In all your trading, if you are not swing trading, hold your “bird in hand” (gains) to avoid sudden disappearance on Monday.

SAI is going crazy before market opening. $1.50 stock threatening to open at over $6 meaning more than 300% before trading!

Against all odds, Bitcoin drops from the earlier reported $30,800 to $30,310, bringing down with it the crypto stocks MARA, RIOT and co.

This could be a dip before a push towards $31,000, but today is Friday, so better to exit with your gains and start afresh on Monday on these stocks, a endure the turbulence through the weekend.
Bitcoin is however traded 24hrs non stop including weekends so anything can happen before the market resumes after today’s closing.

CXAI having dropped from its mountaneous premarket high of $20, seems to be finding a way to establish a support at around $12.51 ish.

What stocks were you investing in and how were you making your choice of stocks?
I would really like to know your response to the above because if you were investing long to medium term, you shouldn’t be loosing that much of the best possible stocks that fits your strategy is picked.
There is still a chance to build what is left gradually back up.

As for Trove withdrawal issues, I really haven’t withdrawn from Trove because I use Trading 212 and other foreign brokers. Sometime ago on this thread, the CEO of Trove used to come respond to some enquiries and so on. Maybe you should search the exact part where he was responding and send him a DM and also try to reach him on his Nairaland’s handle.

Thanks for your response. I was investing on Covid Stocks. I was going long, which decapitated me, after covid. All the stocks nose dived and I couldn’t save myself.

I have sold all the funds on my trove and trying to liquidate according to their instructions and it’s really pathetic that for 4 months I can’t withdraw or access my funds. Their customer care is unresponsive.

Report DriveWealth to FINRA and SEC(I've done it before) demanding a reason why your money is being withheld by them

FINRA and SEC will write them a query mandating them to give you a response regarding the matter

They'll answer you promptly and officially

A good time to get back into crypto stocks as Bitcoin bounces back to above $30,000 and stocks pul back slightly before a ride up.

LEV is looking great on the charts at $2.55.

With the trades we took today, our commission rate for this month is now 1%. Looks quite reasonable.

With volatility so high today. We ha e started porting to low risk stocks. Today we bought a stock in the steel industry. The sweet 0art is that we bought at a strong support.

Bitcoin stocks, although in uptrend, the risk is now higher. We will be waiting to enter them back at strong supports.

WHAT DO YOU DO ON A FEARFUL DAY LIKE THIS AS MARKET PREPARES TO OPEN?
Simple, we follow our plan. If you have quality stocks, no need to worry, just follow your plan.

For us our plan today is to see[b] if our bitcoin stocks continue losing, we Exit today without fail. And if our stop loss pass a particular [/b]thresholds, we sell and move on. A example of maximum loss for a swing trader who holds strong stocks is 20%. So, any of my stock that hits the 20% threshold or lose 20% from a recent hight is booted out of my portfolio, no apology (please do not assume this figure is hight, we need to avoid losses getting to 50 or 70%. recovery will be too difficult) for 20%, recovery is possible Ina matter of weeks.

If you fail to exit your poor quality/loisi g stock this week, you may likely see a bigger loss next week. This is not to scare anybody, but just the reality.

Let us have a nice day and protect our capital.

Going forward, please this is a time to slow down, next week may be more dangerous than this week if tge 2 reports from US is negative!!!!

Damn, finally finished reading the whole thread, took me three weeks altogether. Lots of rich information here, until some decided to make the thread their personal space and spam incessantly, wonder why the mods didn't act. Anyway, just checking in, still have some more stuffs to read.

Market has been lethargic perhaps due to the underwhelming results of some companies including Tesla.

TODAY IS A DAY WE SHOULD PUT OUR EMOTIONS IN CHECK
I was able to withstand the urge to place a new trade today. The rule of trading say we should watch the general market before making a move. You cannot be wiser than the market, so if the market is falling, there is no need to try to buy in order to pick a falling knive, all in the name of buying a pullback. My waiting just gave me opportunity to buy at a better time and probably lower price on another day!!!

So we keep our cash.

For now safety of our funds first.
