How relegation threatened teams and subpar players made this list is what is mind boggling

Xhaka have been nominated for EPL player of the month twice but somehow he didn't make the list while bentancur(who have been mostly injured btw) and subpar Hojberg made it. Partey that have been the best Dm after Casemiro didn't make it but Hojberg, Palhinha and Madison made it ahead of him. And what did McAllister do at Brighton over Xhaka and Partey too?

Ben White is also mostly underrated even by his countrymen. I mean, I'm seeing Romero and Ben Mee over him?

Then go to attack, that's the worst.
Havertz, Nunez? Gosh!!

No wonder Var officials dey always Fvck up for England.

I mean, if you can't even make a good decision that will take months to decide, how can you make decisions that demands quick seconds to minutes?

This internet that people think they can just do anything and go scot-free is really annoying.

All these our recent visitors here are not really supporting Arsenal. They just need something to suit their agenda.
make una leave my club alone. We owe you no explanation whether we win or not. Enough of this fake love.

Granit Xhaka on Bukayo Saka: "This guy is so young, he’s 21. He’s so strong mentally. We are not worried about him. This is one more experience for his future."

"He will do it (bounce back) and he will show a reaction on Friday (against Southampton). It (missing penalties) happens, not only to him but to bigger players than him. This is part of the job, part of his career."

I think after this season holding should go abeg
I can’t begin to think of how last season happened after injury to a defender and holding had to step in angry

I sha don vote and trust me, i hated how the defnce options were so slim at LB that i had to choose Zinch cos i can never pick Shaw wey no dey perform reach Robertson. So

Ramsdale
Saliba
Gabby
Zinch
Odegaard
Saka

My Arsenal guys gats dey my own XI.

Trippier
Rodri
KDB
Rashford
Haaland

Make up the rest.
That CB pairing have ensured we stayed at the top for way tooo long in this campaign. Seperate them and it becomes a problem. Meaning they deserve a spot together.

I don't see Zinch as an LB. I dunno why he was chosen there.

I believe Rashford has a great season than Grealish so i picked him.

That RW spot has too many hot guys. Starboi is 21 and has been super influential too.

Overall, i no understand the omission of at least 9 players across all teams in the epl.

The most shocking addition is Harvetz. If Harvest can make it, then kukuma add Eddie Nketiah. undecided

Na our Phil Jones. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 But i think it's too convenient making him the top villian in the last two games. He did okay vs Westham imo. Na Liverpool game he mess up gaan. But Zinch messed up the most and Arteta too by disrespecting Salah and Trent. That's tactical ineptitude. The team fell apart after that 1st pk. Arteta should have done some pep talk during a moment. He was barely vocal on the touchline.

Jamie Carragher was accurate about his talk on us

"If Anything is going to wrong towards the title race, it is definitely going to be Arsenal totally causing it, not their opponents doing anything outstanding on the pitch."

Paraphrasing

Two games we are leading 2-0 and we bottle it?

I can't even remember Arteta respecting some teams sef like here, play for a draw. Let them have the ball and just counter. We have over 30 different 90mins worth of clips for opponents to analyze and start figuring out our weaknesses so well and efficiently.

Guess what? It didn't really work. We rather messed up.

The thing with Holding Is that he didn't do anything wrong (or spectacularly wrong) for him to be blamed but there's a feeling that with Saliba, we would have probably won both matches.

I won't really blame Holding for our dropped points esp against West Ham. In fact against West Ham, he's one of the last people I'll really blame

There's something that Arteta said in the all or nothing video(Aon— arsenal). He said that he'll rather play for a win when a win is possible than to settle for a draw and I fully agree with him.

Leaving the ball for teams and expecting us to always counter is attribute of a small team. We were forced to do that against Liverpool and we found out how Ramsdale made us not to carry basket go house.

Thank goodness we didn't carry that mentality to Spurs home or Stamford bridge earlier this season. Maybe we would have been below Man city by now instead of above.

Sometimes, I just feel we're overly critical of Arteta and his tactics that we don't want to even see the bigger picture.

There's a way it affects especially in the decision making process. A wrong decision with movement can make another player to make a error. So while he is not the direct person involved, his poor decision or movement may have led to the error. Also the positive energy or calming influence a player brings may mean winning the three points like in the case of Zinchenko Vs Tierney.

Generally, defensive partnerships are usually given more preference ahead of individual brilliance.

I'm not against defensive partnership and I understand how it's very very important for team's stability and success.

But in Saturday's draw, one of the least culpable is Holding(I don't see any poor movement or decision that led to any error either directly or indirectly). Yes, he might budey the ball out due to his quality (or lack of) in keeping ball under pressure but the main issue started from the midfield when they lost their cool immediately we conceded the first goal. Partey was playing nonsense, Xhaka followed suit, Odegaard was not at his best and we were just under undue pressure.

If only we had maintained and dominated that game wen we went 2 goal up and not become overconfident we would have won that game same way we did against Crystal Palace and Leeds

What happened to martinelli left foot? have never seen him cross with it. He only cuts to the right and spins the ball nonchalantly or cuts back and cross. Instead of moving in a straight line and making accurate cross. By so doing, he's killing the rhythm of the attack and causing the opposing side to return in time to defend

Not always effective bro... he does that countless number of times but the crosses were always blocked.

see as you just the rant up and down disgracing your intellect while thinking you're smart. even if city wins their first outstanding match and the match week games are on all square 31 who would still be leading the league?, so city would win all their matches while sweet arsenal won' abi?, just to for you a prove a point. city still have to play arsenal and as long as sweet arsenal gets a result there, the league will continue to be in our hands cus no be today teams start d win league with one point.
Your emotions are talking more than the facts.

Nobody is arguing that Arsenal are the league leaders. The argument is about if winning the league is IN YOUR HANDS. It cannot be because you now depend on City not picking up all their possible points.

Logic is not hard to understand or follow.

As long as we draw or win Man city then we're at an advantage.

Man city only needs (3points) while we needed at least a draw(1point). So yes, it's still in our hands Mathematically
It is not because you need City to drop points. When it was in your hands, it did not matter if City won all their points.

Oga Android, please what are you saying na.
Comot ego and emotions for this your talk and you'll see Man city needs arsenal to drop more points than we need them to.
I wish you'd understand the post you have above.

City depended on Arsenal dropping points and you have just done that by dropping 4. If you had not dropped those points it would not have mattered if City went the rest of the season perfect.

You guys are the ones on that emotional path but somehow you are projecting it on me. grin

Well, arsenal team this season isn't the same with last season. Football is a bit psychological, City is good but again arsenal can cause upset if they can keep their heads in the game. Getting penalty is part of the game but I am sure they don't need 2 red cards from city players to beat man city "on their good day".
Like the other 2 times this season that City beat Arsenal?

I understand the winning mentality totally. But when you're not at your best, that alone impacts whatever plans you have. Osimhen absence alone made Napoli look like relegation team despite having same setup. You can't win all. You cant do that all season with a squad without a depth like City or Madrid. So it is just common sense. Yes we are top but we cant pretend injuries haven't affected our stride.

How the manager responds to such in emergency situations, adaptability and etc will reflect his maturity.

Once again, despite all of that, individual mistakes cost us 4 points in 2 games. One was foolishness by our manager. Lacking Respect for the person of Salah. And then carelessness in Westham game.

It makes it look like we can never handle pressure off the ball, which is shocking considering how we easily recover possession early on in the season. So what is happening.?

Fatigue definitely.

1st of all, using Haaland in this is not even close an example. Does he do anything else asides his 9 role?

Let's be factual. We know he inverted. Analysis this season proves his primary duty is lacking compared to his inverted duties which he flourishes in. That doesn't make him a natural LB. That's why every commentator acknowledges that fact that Tierney is a natural LB as he does much better defending than Zinch. This is not news.

That only 2 were nominees just shows how odd this TOTs is, with all those dangerous omission.

Lb on paper
Inverted player in reality

Same for Trent.

Nothing is as devastating as being too consistent and predictable till you're found out.

That is the problem of Barca and the Spanish national team at Qatar WC. Predictable!!!!

Morocco proved it. All by a manager that has barely stayed with the team for a duration worth a semifinal spot.

I believe we'll bounce back. I really do hope.
