For your own safety, do away with it before it explodes and cause you bodily injury or ignite your house since it has continued to expand.
Oraimo is just a brand that leverage on it's name. Brands like New age and 3G are even stronger and more reliable.

I bought the oraimo power bank sometime last year, and after I used it for a couple of months, the battery started swelling up but did not reduce its performance.

I think we're actually in the same predicament

My rossmoss 30000 mah is swollen as well
Been using it for four years
Should I dispose it at this point
Coz I’m reading on here that it might explode anytime

No effect on your phone other than the powerbank may explode while charging the powerbank, especially overcharging it.
(the possibility is low, but it is there)

Just avoid charging the powerbank full, to reduce the chances.

I once used my swollen Romoss powerbank for 4 months, then i opened the powerbank and carefully used pin to pierce the outer casing of the lithium battery to remove the trapped gas, then taped the tiny hole(Very risky procedure, dont try it unless you know what you are doing)

After the procedure, I used it for like extra 8 months before the battery started swelling again with a reduced battery life.
At that point i had to throw it away.


Right now, the only powerbank i can recommend is REDMI.

Redmi is the best power bank, that's currently what am using.

Any power bank brand can swell up

You guys need to learn how to use power banks too. So many people abuse its usage and it's unhealthy to the environment. 😊

Mine has swollen up too for some days now. Bought it more than a year now New Age 22500mAh. I'm worried and don't know what to do now hence I searched this topic. I can't go out with power bank.

I think i will stop buying oriamo products. My power bank is swollen and the black plastic case is beginning to crack.

Mine too us having same breakage, Oraimo have started producing nonsense.

Go for foreign products like Anker. Anker is probably the best power bank manufacturer in the world right now. It's pricey but worth every penny.

Redmi power bank is the best and that because it has heat and overcharge control chip that make heat and overcharge to do no effect on them.
I have been using 20K 18W Redmi power bank almost 4 years now and it's still the same like i bought it.

This is a 2 yrs old 30,000mah PB I bought 19,500 on December 2022...now a new PB of same capacity jumia is showing me cost around 32,000 plus

Anker power bank is king but price
