PrinceofSarcasm: You know their game very well. It is simply insane to have 1 major port for a country of over 200 million when niger delta region alone has endless coastlines with natural deep water ports that don't need dredging unlike apapa and tincan. 5 Likes |

PrinceofSarcasm: To start with, how is it Yorubas who refused to give Igbos a port? Is that not some elite level ownership of Nigeria you're accruing to us? This is one of the issues. You blame us for everything you cannot have. Yorubas didn't let Igbos go, Yoruba didn't give Igbos ports, we didn't do this or that. Which kind wahala be this? Fulani has been in power for 8 years, before then was the Ijaws for 6 year. How in the world is Yoruba not giving Igbos a port? Una dey okay so? Foreigners come in to marry your sisters, and so? Other SSern regions are getting foreigners to invest in their land, your own achievement is when they pick your women every weekend? Which other state doesn't see that happen? Rest, please. And that's not to say foreigners will prefer to fly directly into those zones because their headquarters are all in Lagos. Let's set the record straight here. We're not getting any hate except from our noisy neighbors but we also know how to handle them. We're largely at peace with everyone else. That your narrative won't fly. If at all, it's the other way. We are also aware that we're the next target of propaganda after the Fulani but you know us. We have representation everywhere. It won't fly. 7 Likes |

PrinceofSarcasm:Lol, na so other tribes mumu reach that yorubas takes everything from them? Did the yorubas stop you from using Portharcourt seaport or did anyone told you the yorubas locked it. Light rails are going on in lagos now, did they also take that from you. You are just filled with hatred, but we don't care 5 Likes |

misano:It is the evil Yoruba supremacist plan. But what they don't know is that propaganda and force Monopoly will never bring organic development. They steal everything for other regions and force it all in Lagos then turn around and accuse others of over crowding Lagos !!! Why not spread all services. Make all airports really international so one can fly from any where int the world to any airport in Nigeria and let's see how other states won't boom! Open all ports and make it that anyone can ship anything directly to Lagos port and let's see how long Lagos will brag 5 Likes 1 Share |

NapoleonHill: The more the dollar goes up, the more the Aba made products replace the imported products. At the end Nigerians will start to depend on purely Nigeria made from Onitsha and Aba. The market and Nigeria's economy will fall back to the Igbos again. 6 Likes 1 Share |

You are not allowed to ship directly to any other port as an individual other than to Lagos port. You cannot fly directly to Nigeria international airport only to Lagos then few planes to Abuja. PrinceofSarcasm:No, you did not hate yorubas. Yes, I said it. Let me tell you what hatred means, If you hate yorubas, you either start killing them anywhere you see them. They are there in your Edo. Or you jump into river and perish, and when people ask why, then those around you that you tell before killing yourself will say it is because you hate yorubas o. Your hatred is meaningless, cos a yoruba man must rule you for 8years now. If you don't like it, Rivers are many, jump into one. No one will notice you. 1 Like |

An entire thread full of empty bragging and tribalistic paranoia, and this is the first post to point out a glaring fact contradicting all the "Yorubas are blocking us" conspiracy ranting. Onne seaport is not only functional, but in many ways better run than Apapa, so why don't all these Igbo supermen traders use it? 5 Likes 1 Share |

Yes we are the problem, so what can you do now than to cry. You said if the East had ports no single ibo will be in Lagos and he told you about the functional port in onne, you said onne is too far and that no sensible businessman will like to travel far to bring his stuff. Then why are you bringing it from Lagos? Why not from onne which is closer to you than Lagos? Many of you are blinded by hatred which has made u you very silly. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Gabriel004: We'd enjoy this ride for 8 years. They are their own problem. Look at all the HQs of the O&G in SS. They all ran to Lagos. Community will not let them rest. They will be using them to chop everyday. The functioning port in Onne is a scary zone for most of them. Community will rip off and still steal from them. It's only in the SW that many of these companies have peace. I've been to most of these states. The Agbero in Lagos are playing beside the ones on Onisha. Those one will even tax traders who are loading their goods into the vehicle. If you're not careful, they will rob and steal from you. You now see the one claiming Edo. That one is the butt of a bad joke. 2 Likes 1 Share |
