Sometimes I read many threads and comments on this infamous nairaland and just laugh. A lot of people need to smell the coffee. They are beyond out of touch with reality. I drop bits of news like these to hopefully bring some lost souls back to reality about where things really are in Todays Nigeria. 15 Likes 2 Shares |

What is the point of having presidency from your tribe yet struggling to eat three square meals while those who don't have presidency have the largest and broadest middle class as evidenced by their measurable consumption. 46 Likes 6 Shares |

Then why are you telling us? build ports there. Is it not common sense? Port building is exclusively a federal affair. For the olodos who prefer that containers keep falling on danfo buses in congested Apapa and killing their people than seeing the East have ports. 33 Likes 4 Shares |

AdaojoTheUrchin: There was a leaked watsapp group message which showed that they were worried that if peter obi wins, he will open up eastern ports. They were scared that Igbos will leave their region. Forget all the gragra here on Nairaland. Behind closed doors, the truth comes out. 61 Likes 7 Shares |

And yet, you think there shouldn't be a port in the south east? At worst, two mighty sea port should be in the southeast to ease their businesses there. 10 Likes 1 Share |

data don't lie. SE has the most urbanized states with high middle class population. Reason the Igbos dominate social media more than the purported populous tribes/regions. 27 Likes 4 Shares |

horsepower102: These 2 states have first class economists and and former top bankers as governors. The run states with commerce cities that are growing independent of federal government support. The 2 commercial cities are very close to rivers that link the Atlantic Ocean, the 2 states have gas deposits in very commercial quantities, the similarities are just too glaring. 13 Likes 2 Shares |

While some argue against verifiable data. Go to NAHCO shed and see goods produced in Nnewi and Aba, cargoed for onward freight to Mozambique, East Africa etc. 17 Likes 3 Shares |

ThinkSmarter: Igbos are the most well travelled ethnic group in Africa. This factor has given them a unique advantage because they are exposed to how other progressive nations run their affairs. This is the main reason they are very frustrated with how horrible things are going in Nigeria. There is no sane human being in Nigeria who travels around the world and come back happy with the nonsense going on in Nigeria. 33 Likes 3 Shares |
