Hi everyone,

Help please!

Please I have a quick question that I need clarification on regarding proof of fund. I have someone who is applying for a Canadian study visa (2years course)

The person has a scholarship that covers the first year of the tuition fee and being placed on a condition of fulfilling the necessary eligibility requirements in order to receive the fund for the second year.

First question: do we need to show in the proof of fund the tuition fee for the second year?

Second question: how many years living expenses (CAD 10,000/ year) will we need to show. Is it one year or two years.

Thank you so much for your help
I look forward to your response

I’m thinking of applying with just sales receipt and pictures of my sponsor in her store but don’t know if that would make sense to the VO.
Also did you get your PPR ?

I believe sales receipts and pictures of sponsor in her store won’t justify how far the business have been in existence. And yes I got my PPR

The remaining expenses who is taking care of it?
If it’s him, then it’s self sponsorship so he should have d 2 years living expenses plus miscellaneous to boost his chance. It shouldn’t be much again. Bt if he’s just managing then he should try to show for first year nd miscellaneous God fit do am for am

Check VFS website, you will see the process/requirements.

Meanwhile if you're submitting with courier, you don't need to book appointment.

The person have two sponsors (his brother and uncle) staying outside the country, they will be sending the first year living expenses into his personal account.
Is it advisable for them to write a letter stating that they will cover the second year living expenses once he get to Canada?

Please help, My brother got admission into cape Breton and has gotten his visa. But we had the place is overcrowded and accommodation is scarce. We have family in Canada who confirmed this. So now we want switch school. But the cape Breton resumes next month and it’s almost impossible to get admission to a school that resumes in may. So we plan that he goes, but does not attend the school And within the 180 days stipulated time. He gets another admission into another school for September and update IRRC about it. Do you guys think this can work?

Thank you.

I used DHL & I submitted to Abuja even though I did biometrics in Lagos.

Documents:
1. Passport
2. Passport request letter
3. Biometrics sticker/consent form given to you on the day you did biometrics
4. 2 copies of passport data page
5. 2 consent form, download from VFS website
6. Plain paper where I wrote my name, email, phone number & address. I also wrote it on the envelope

Since I submitted to Abuja, I added all the proof of payment.

1. Transmission fee
2. 1 way courier fee
3. SMS fee

I got my PPR but I intend applying for my husband and kids while am here so we can travel together.
But I heard it’s better to land Canada first before applying.
Please enlighten me.
Which one will be faster ?
Is there visa guaranteed ?

NOTE - I have a 3 kids and my last is 2 months old, hence the reasons for my intentions.
You can actually apply for them immediately as long as you have the funds. Then with a very strong emotional sop

Send him email but don't ever send him money for anything. He can't be trusted. I repeat, don't send your 1 Kobo to Bamz555

Congrats. I will advise you gather all docs you beed for them and be ready to submit but do not submit till you enter.

I dont know financial situation but as soon as you enter, file for them and if you are blessed to have even a Part time job , that cuts your financial requirement majorly. And you can easily claim you need your hubby and kids for emotional support. 👍🏿👍🏿

Chances when you apply when you are in is considerably higher than doing it before you leave.

Have been a silent follower on this platform and have been seeing a lot of testimonies and motivational stories which made me want to share mine. What God cannot do does not exist, I am a living testimony.
I initially used an agent and was denied sometime around 2020 twice. Following the advice from the group and also speaking to a verified consultant, finally given a PPR.
I did it all by myself. Thank you, Jesus!!!! I really thank God for being with me and seeing me through all this.
