In other news,
India and Bangladesh are moving away from using the US dollar in bilateral trade, It is expected that exports from Bangladesh to India, which were about $2 billion in 2022, will be fully switched to rupees and takas, while $2 billion-worth of Indian exports to Bangladesh (out of roughly $13.69 billion as of the previous fiscal year) will be paid-for in rupees.

It's literally in the link you just quoted. Take the price of Brent ($70-$80) and remove $20 for Urals for the days they gave you

Or if you want it spelt out to you, you can look at the price of Urals in the graph below from when the price cap came in in December till date, you will see it has been ranging $49 to $60 while Brent has been between $70 and $80.

Like I said, most Putards lack financial education

I would have ignored your ignorance but let me just afford you the benefit of the doubt that you're just being innocently ignorant.

The price of Russian Urals oil had already fallen way before the invasion of Ukraine, so I don't know what financial education you learnt that is better than all others, including that of the white man. cool

The price cap too has failed dramatically because Russian oil keep finding its way into the EU market via so many backdoors at a rate that has the EU paying more for their oil than the usual. . More over, it's not even sustainable given the market Dynamics and the many players involved.

While Russian oil revenue has without doubt decline due to the brouhaha with the EU, there is a reason why the Russians would hardly lose sleep over the shortfalls in revenue. This is because the Russian national budget financing was pegged at $40 per barrel. So, even if it's sells say at $60 or even at $55, it's still a massive profit considering the record massive sale it has been recording.

FYI, nowhere was it recorded that Russia sold its oil at $49 per barrel. Average is a range, and doesn't mean exact. So you shouldn't be basing our final figures on it.

It would interest you to know that some countries in Europe (including the cursed Poland elite) are still buying Russian oil at the normal rate. cool

Don't let emotion cloud your sense of judgement. Even one Ukrainian oil consultant while speaking to the Economist describe the scenario as ironic and ridiculous that the Russians they claimed to have sanctioned is the same entity they're buying oil from. grin

The takeaway here is that despite all the sanctions imposed by the EU and the US, including the price cap, Russian oil is still finding its way around the world, and into the EU, which entails the failure of the sanction war. While the EU is busy paying more for it's oil. cool

When you're big, you're big.

Russia is too big for the midget EU and its America vassal to isolate. cool

Mumu, after all this to confirm that Urals is trading at massive discount.

Urals and Brent were trading within the same price range until the price cap. That is fact. Pricecap has knocked $20 off each barrel. That is fact.

As to your last paragraph, please help me with Russias budget deficit YTD if Russian budget is based on $40. Russia is already on $29bln deficit for the year, over 70% of the deficit target it set for 2023 already exceeded in Q1. Google is your friend.

The price of production of each barrel is around $40 so anything sold at $40 yields zero to the Government. I don't know where you got that budget is based on $40, and if so why is budget at massive deficit while trading between $49 and $60?

After googling, then Google the Ruble to dollar price and explain why the Urals selling so low has no effect when Ruble has backslid 30% since the pricecap. Maybe because Russian forex reserves which they used to manipulate the Ruble have been impacted by the pricecap?

"The sponsorship of Nazism in Ukraine (at an immense cost of lives and property of the westerners and Ukrainians) only delayed but did not stop the inevitable.
If the west was really concerned with preventing a Russian invasion of surrounding countries, then they should have drafted a millitary agreement with those countries (an agreement that states that should Russia invade that country, then they'll collectively invade Russia). Where does Russia want to invade next? South Africa? Lagos? South America?
The narrative of the West keeps falling apart."

"Majority of Ukrainians do not support the West/Zelensky's vendetta against Russians.
Majority of Ukrainians had preferred that the country should be divided with one going to Russia and the other as the new Ukraine (NK SK scenario) with security guarantees from the US, France and the UK. Security guarantees that ensures that if Russia invades the new Ukraine, then France, US, the new Ukraine and the UK will jointly invade Russia (are those countries scared? They have a lot of mouth).
I find Russia to be more credible. I don't even need to listen to Russia..I just need to look at the behaviour of the West. They appear to be confirming Russia's claims with thier actions."

There are some misguided folks who feel that speaking out against neocolonialism is a campaign to ask Nigerians to remain confined within the boundaries of the nation. On the contrary, there are speakers like who speak against neocolonialism and also drops tips on immigration.
My interests is a developed and prosperous Africa where ordinary Africans have the resources to travel and explore the world without having to dehumanize themselves.
We can do this by weaning ourselves from the influence of the same entities that have made your native land inhabitable for the reasons stated here:

"Corruption as it is is a legacy of Western colonialism. After years of looting, stealing, maiming and brigandage, the West was able to create a 'garden' for themselves and sustain this garden by the continuous subjugation and exploitation of those condemned to the jungle"

Origins of Corruption In Africa
https://panafricanreview.rw/origins-of-corruption-in-africa/

Look at Saudi Arabia for example

"Population estimates are seen to have a very small diaspora, mainly because the KSA provides native Saudis with more than adequate welfare benefits, removing the need to live and work in other developed countries.
There are a variety of reasons why so few Saudi Arabians chose to permanently live to the United States. Among these were the wealth of Saudi Arabia, the religious faith and pride of Saudis who found it difficult to maintain an Islamic lifestyle in the United States, and a lack of factors motivating citizens to leave Saudi Arabia. The limited number of marriages between the US and Saudi citizens may also have contributed to the low number of Saudi immigrants and of Saudi American
" Wikipedia...
the West should focus on introducing democracy in Saudi Arabia instead of pillaging developing countries.

The reason I'm relaxing on the RUS - UKR conflict is because the war is over, my aspirations came to fruition much more rapidly than I expected.
The West has receded and declined, we're now in a multipolar world where Yuan is an acceptable alternative to the dollar, sanctions are impotent, the West has been unable to isolate Russia (the West still has embassies in Russia sef...they could communicate with Russia via Nigeria or cnn), the West has been unable to prevent trade between Russia and the relevant stakeholders (China and India).. plus, Nazi Ukraine has lost territory that is comparable to the size of some countries and the West is unable to achieve any of it's intended goals/ambition (the West is incapacitated).

In addition to this, President Peter Obi, President of Biafra, some parts of Nigeria and commander in chief of obidients worldwide has submitted an application for Africa (yes, he also doubles as the president of Africa) to join NATO. Our enormous natural resources is too dear to allow it to fall into Russian hands.

and

As a matter of "leaks", resources rich Africa was next on the Russian agenda. But thanks to the sacrifices of Jewlensky and the benevolent West, Russia is unable to invade Nigeria. Tinubu has traveled to Ukraine to thank the Nazi militant for fighting for our freedom.
