How do these people arrive at all these baseless and unsubstantiated figures for crying out loud? I understand majority of the Nigerian population is poor, myself included. But God will take me out. I have suffered enough as a posthumous child.
I want to appeal to the consciences of any nairalander who can read this comment to please in God's name, help my family. My kids have fallen sick due to hunger and starvation. Since November last year, I have not gotten any building contract. People are not building houses dis days. It's difficult everywhere. We are close to been lifeless now. Please people don't despise us pls. There is no one to call on except the Almighty God who I believe would stir your hearts to help me. My heart is bleeding as a result of this. Pls help my kids. With the low populations in south east 4 out of 5 states still make this list no wonder they are running away from south east..... In 50 years time Igbos will be dragging the whole south west with Yoruba people

My mum was pregnant with me when my dad died in 1988. Been the firstborn, I suffered. I attempted suicide twice but I got rescued. I literally trained myself from Primary4 to secondary to university. I almost dropped out in the university due to lack of funds. I spent 9years in the university on a four year course but I never gave up. My mum later died. Due to boredom and loneliness, I had to marry for companionship. As I write to u, my kids are almost starving to death. I am a builder. But for almost five months now, no job. Ulcer is dealing with as well. We can't eat. I'm in need of assistance pls sir

Lagos is the biggest contradiction in the world Today.
The 5th largest economy in Africa ( which means it generates huge income),
yet one of the most unliveable places in the world due to lack of social and health services, lack of order, no electricity, bad electricity, bad roads, bad transportation, no flood prevention, bad emergency services, failing schools, bad policing, bad sanitation and more.

The question begging to be answered is where has all this huge income gone?

The huge income hasn’t gone anywhere but there is not enough infrastructure to handle the huge population in Lagos. The problem with Lagos is overpopulation! And they are still trooping in night and day!!!!
