I don't think he was aware that David was with Chioma as at the time he made the call. It could have been one of those innocent well-wishing comments but David only reacted angrily because Chioma heard it and took it badly. Either way David only has himself to blame for 1. not being able to keep his D in his pant's even when married and 2. not taking his calls in privacy.
