After over one year in Ghana without anything to show for it, I have finally decided to come back to Nigeria.

With no job, house or anything tangible to fall back to but i am just determined to start all over again because i believe no matter how far you have gone on the wrong part it is never too late to start again.

In my late thirties, no qualifications, no family, no flourishing or tangible business but determined to learn anything that can at least substain me.

now this are my questions.
*can someone like me survive the current nigeria economy?
*does the incoming tinubu govt have a place for people like me?
*on getting to naija, what digital skill do you advice me to learn? -- the skill shouldn't take much time to learn.
*i have interest in learning video and photo editing but dis skill go fit give person money?
*which apps, sites should i register on here in ghana so that i will hit the ground running as soon as i come to nigeria?.

please i need your help and suggestions.
please i need suggestions on the fastest and profitable digital skill to learn in nigeria or any business that can fetch little but quick money enogh for me to settle down in nigeria.
i am now a shadow of myself, ghana na wa o.
nairalanders abeg make una help me o.
Are there no Billionaires, Multi Millionaires and Level thousanaires in Ghana?
You failed to do what Ghanaians are doing, that gets them money.
Go back there,Nigeria is crowded we don't want to share.

I can't believe all these fools above are condemning the guy for seeking greener pasture elsewhere.. Wicked people really dey this world sad

* OP.. If you have something left with you like 100k, you can just start a little business, trust me with prayers, you'll sure pass this phase of life. Flavour was deported if you know that, he even said in one of his songs. (Ups and Downs are part of life)

* If you're koboless, you can start with a security work or look for a teaching job, at least that's the easiest job to find now in Nigeria. From there, you can try out other bigger stuffs.

* Then, If you want to live a peaceful life free from competition and egocentric nonsense, just go to the North and settle in one village there, trust me, you will live longer and more healthier than your siblings in the South or anywhere else in the country.. Their women don't care if you have one pair of slippers, most of them don't even have sef.

But if you like Bugatti lifestyle (asin, you love to Buga), then stay in the South and start slave_hustling, then pray depression won't finish you off.. Because you will keep comparing others to yourself till you give up the ghost.

All is not lost bro.. At least you have a story to tell your kids.
you perfectly nailed all the points you stated there cool

Don't depend on government to do anything for you. Those that have survived and thriving do not have the mindset of depending on government but rather hard work and determination with no plan B.

In Ghana, do the people depend on government?

UK is still far better than Nigeria. I can afford basic things in the UK that Nigerian refers as luxury

@kokorokoman

Yes. You can make it.

I always encourage myself with the story of Jibrin Samuel Okutekpa(SAN). Man started primary school (primary 2) at the age of 17 and later dropped out in primary 3 to focus on helping his father in his farm. He later ventured into fire service and auto-mechanic. Started IJMB as a married man and later studied law in UNIJOS. Today, he is a senior lawyer in Nigeria.

He had so many reasons to quit but he kept pushing until he achieved his dream. You can also tow his part. It is never going to be easy but with with due diligence and hardworking, you will achieve anything you set your mind on. Start anything today, no matter how small and watch it grow

The man is even a regular on TV segments discussing law and politics. So popular that BAT even invited him to join his legal team. That's how far the man's level is now in Naija.

What really made me scared of Ghana was when a friend rented an apartment at Kasoa which is outskirt of the capital Accra and he paid 9000 Ghana cedis for a 2 bedroom flat and that was in 2016. As at then, 9000 Ghana cedis was 900k naira.
Omoh, I was shocked.
It is like someone paying 900k in Ifo or sango Otta which are outskirt of Lagos, now imagine what people are paying in central Accra.
I don't even know how they pay such rent because it is a very very poor country with very poor salary scale so I wonder how they get to pay those house rents.
Even Nungua where I schooled, to get a one room for rent for 30k /30 cedis na with beta beta abeeeeg
Just imagine one room for 30k per month

I rented a self con in east legon at 500$ a months cheesy

With 2 million in naira in you account in Ghana , you are nothing . Bro I would advice you to come back .. do not think about restarting . Just feel what ever time spent in Ghana was for a reason and come back and stay positive about your life . Things will get better. I know of Nigerians in Ghana for 10 years that don't have 1 million in account . B cause the system them na bills . But if them take pictures they are fresher
