Why is the hatred? Buhari has done his best to the Igbos but they hate him, it's only my governor Engineer Dave Umahi that appreciate Buhari, and now before Tinubu would be inaugurated they are saying they hate him, do they think he will be like Buhari? They should be careful with their stupidity if not, they will receive what they want, because Tinubu is deferent from Buhari

How is he different sir?

Now that you mention other groups, i think they all deserve an equal right to lead this country.

But all cannot at the same time.

It is democracy and you must make overtures before you are considered.

When Buhari decided to join active politics he made concerted effort to court the trust of the Igbo. In fact, twice he picked his vice as presidential candidate from the Igbos. At every of these occasion the Igbos did not only reject him but continued to exponentially growth their hatred for him.
In 2015 he made dave to the Yoruba political leaders through Asiwajo which paid him off. But the Igbos thought they could use blackmail to make him give them undue attention over his benefactors, the Yoruba.
Buhari did tried for them, though. One of the most important project in the country's national life and probably the Igbo subregion was the Niger bridge successive governments worshipped by the Igbos had failed to accomplish despite huge budgeted allocations year in year out. Buhari completed that project, yet no thanks from those ingrates. Saying it loudly, there is no project that have consumed national resources like the second Niger bridge under Buhari's government. Buhari never budged, he completed it in spite of resource ditch he has faced.
They continue saying Buhari hates them because they wanted him to hand out his life to them, that's the only appeasement acceptable. He must appoint them chief of staff, his secretary, his Chief security? What a joke from an open enemy!
They have now transferred their hatreds for Buhari to Tinubu as expected. They have started playing the same victim mentality they played through out Buhari's government.

Buhari hates Igbos, Tinubu hates Igbos.
But the Igbos like Buhari, the Igbos like Tinubu! Where is the truth?
Who hates who?
Let's see how far the rhetorics will go.

I am not Igbo.

I however believe that the Igbos have been marginalized too much in this country.

This should have been a chance by Tinubu to mend bridges.

I believe it could have been an oversight.

I am hoping that he learns from this and adjusts his future appointments to include a lot of the regions where he has no current support.

Finally, i hope either Peter Obi or Atiku wins the court cases.

The new trend is u guys denying your Igbo roots, but unfortunately, can't hide ur hatred for Yoruba. That trend of "I'm not igbo" don cast, abeg

Hahahahahaha!

I laugh with you.

The arrogance of the tribe that has been wailing since 2015.

A tribe that swore that Jonathan must deal mercilessly with Yorubas, and that Yorubas should go meet Tinubu for their own reward despite that Jonathan won every SouthWest state except Osun State.

Then moved their hatred to the agenda that a Northerner must continue to rule rather than any Yoruba win the Presidency after Buhari.

That is the same tribe now wailing that a Yoruba President-elect is dealing with them.

Let them go and meet the mandate thief called Peter Obi III, he will consider his own tribe in his online republic.

Apart from the first republic when we had the same Zik as a parliamentary president and Aguiyi’s small stint as HOS, no igbo has led this country. That is the undeniable fact.

You mention CBN governorship positions, ministerial positions and legislative positions and assume that should be enough for a whole region in 5 decades?

For a region that suffered mass destruction during the war, a national redevelopment fund should have been established for the ravaged areas since 1970.

The ports, roads, industrial hubs and potential technological advancements in the east have not been developed as much as they should.

The Igbos were initially the clerical and administrative hub of old Nigeria and were the bulk of intellectuals in the railways, ferries, government agencies and ministries. The civil war led to the death of many of this cadre and Nigeria slowly entered into a period of intellectual rot. The quota system did not help matters.

Igbos survived through trading, not by choice but as as a second option. If the civil war has not started and the embarrassing quota system was not introduced , the corps of intellectuals lost could have pushed us towards development and made us the real giant of Africa.

If you feel the Igbos are not marginalized, have you tried to consider what your response would have been if a Yoruba or Hausa/Fulani has never ruled this country since inception?

So we must vote you?

God bless you!

That is why they see equity and equality now as marginalization.

Nobody is marginalising them, they are just pained that they are dominating or they are not in position of fulanis, although fulanis are better ,they never done anything similar to that Azikiwe criminality if domination when he was the president.

There are still some Igbos that campaigned actively for Tinubu. Dont they deserve some recognition?

They do but the call shouldn't come from Ohanaeze who have rejected Tinubu.

I am not sure they did not truly win as you stated. That should be left to the courts to decide.

One of their arguments is that Tinubu did not win. They presented their claims as to that. If the courts can agree with them, then it is a win for them.

The courts can ask INEC to conduct a rerun of the elections or award to one of plaintiffs.

So everytime a legitimate election and winner is declared, any usurper can claim it was rigged, go to to court then the whole world would be waiting for the verdict?

These people think upside down.

The werey old man who wanted to bring IPOB to Lagos told court he was having a session of electrical short-circuit in his brain when it happened.
The one that wanted to hijack Ibom Air said he was actually mad at that Moment.
The same people who proved it beyond reasonable doubts in their lunatic world that the man in Aso Rock is Jibril of Sudan later came to beg that Buhari should release Nnamdi Kanu. Can the dead release the living?

Their wisdom has turned to foolishness big time.

Saying everyone hates you does not make any sense though.
Tinubu was the victim here, he did nothing to to igbos to deserve such hatred from them, I see no reason why Igbos should hate such a man and wanted us to vote for a man who couldn't live with the people he governed.

This is just tribalism cos except age, Tinubu is a far better leader than Obi could ever be

Just imagine the irony. No one hates Tinubu and fighting against his inauguration except Igbos, and yet they still want to be included in his inaugural committee, so that they can bring the process down from within. Igbos don't know what they want, they're confused.

sad Even though I'm a born again Christian, I hope igbos don't get pim from Tinubu. Marginalize them like they've never seen before. Let them suffer for their bad politics of bitterness. Marginalize the south east from Top to Bottom so they can be tolerant in future elections sad
we have already been marginalized since the end of the civil war,we have adapted to survive without government handouts and help, marginalization pushes the human Spirit to try and endeavour more, put more effort, task your mental mind more on how to survive,I guess that's is why the marginalized people rose from the dust and ashes of the civil war to be better than those the has the reins of power,

So let's get this straight. These folks and there kins hate Mr Tinubu to the lowest low, they ridicule everything he does and express there extreme hate for him and whatever he stands for without giving him a chance to heard, and then they cry wolf about how he hates igbos?

The igbos are like the black Americans who shot themselves and still ask why their kinds are dieing everyday.

You can't do such to someone and expect them to give u a seat in whatever they are doing.

Igbo elders and their youths shud wake up, make peace and adjust themselves properly. That will only happen if they themselves cleanse themselves from the generation hatred they have against others. Nice one from Tinubu! I hope he do performs better than buhari!

I mean, just look at the total votes Tinubu got from the entire south east! Very disheartening and no one can ever forget that kind of rejection/hatred so soon.
