Biko what is the average monthly bills.
How much does he have left for savings?
It depends on the persons. In Nigeria, won't you spend money on bills.are your bills funny now?.the food you are eating,is it cheap?..
Is it properly checked and monitored.
Is it of good qualityhuh

Why then do you sound like someone who has spent his/her youthful years outside?

Oga, you left 2021 and you are making mountains out of a hill.

What about we that stayed decades outside with nothing but certificates to show for it. To God be the glory, we came back and started afresh, picking up morethan our peers who started long ago.

My advice: just integrate into the society quickly without shame. You would be amazed with your outcome.
Re: After Over One Year In Ghana. by hk891: 7:51pm On Apr 26, 2023
My candid advise to you is , stay there or travel to another country o! For someone that is coming back to start from zero, it might take you two years or more to enter square one, even the photo editing business you are talking about is already saturated, most Nigerians are looking for means to leave and you want to come back? Abeg think twice, but i belive in God's grace, so if you belive you have it, then you can come and try.

We are certainly saying different things. Your case is different from mine. The number of times I have been to Ghana, I only travelled with my passport and needed no other document. I think I also had my yellow card. I went for training and holidays respectively. Perhaps if you go to hustle, your requirement may be different, I don't know.
olamilekan9:
pls for example,if someone is traveling from 9ja to ghana just to go run visa stuff and head back to 9ja, will the person also need to get residence permit when applying for the visa stuff? pls i need urgent answers bosses
Your reply does not answer Ola's question. Ola is not travelling to Ghana for visiting purposes, but to apply for a visa to another country while as a visitor in Ghana. Neither Ola nor myself is a hustler in this context.

Please re-read next time.

Pls,if you are not making up to 3-4 million naira a month in Nigeria here, stop comparing yourself to the least persons in UK.Don't make empty and unrealistic statement. An average salary there is 3,000-4,000pounds per month.
Are you spending in naira or pounds while in the UK?

Someone who earns 500K in Nigeria is doing better than his counterpart earning 1000 pounds in the UK.

Ok sir. Thank you. However he said *travelling to Ghana to go run visa stuff*

Visa stuff, to my mind shouldn't take 3months, and if I am right, then my answer that he doesn't need anything other than an ECOWAS passport still stands.

However thank you for your advise.

And my answer remains: that is false as the Germany embassy requested for a residence permit from Nigerians who went to apply for student's visa at the Germany embassy in Ghana.

And he told you in confidence he was going for German visa? See why you'd never go past your mediocre level?

The mediocre person is the Nlder who believes a developed country will issue visa to a non-resident African in a nearby African country. If not, why should a Nigerian go to Ghana to apply for a visa if that country's embassy is located in Nigeria?

I can't believe all these fools above are condemning the guy for seeking greener pasture elsewhere.. Wicked people really dey this world sad

* OP.. If you have something left with you like 100k, you can just start a little business, trust me with prayers, you'll sure pass this phase of life. Flavour was deported if you know that, he even said in one of his songs. (Ups and Downs are part of life)

* If you're koboless, you can start with a security work or look for a teaching job, at least that's the easiest job to find now in Nigeria. From there, you can try out other bigger stuffs.

* Then, If you want to live a peaceful life free from competition and egocentric nonsense, just go to the North and settle in one village there, trust me, you will live longer and more healthier than your siblings in the South or anywhere else in the country.. Their women don't care if you have one pair of slippers, most of them don't even have sef.

But if you like Bugatti lifestyle (asin, you love to Buga), then stay in the South and start slave_hustling, then pray depression won't finish you off.. Because you will keep comparing others to yourself till you give up the ghost.

All is not lost bro.. At least you have a story to tell your kids.

Dummy, the young man said *visa stuffs* without all these additions you are bringing on. Why are you making up in your answer what he never even alluded to? Show me where he said he was going for German visa. I certainly don't understand the crap you are talking about because I have never sought visa outside offices in Nigeria, nevertheless the question you should be asking your silly self is, will the guy be applying as a Nigerian in Ghana or as a Ghanian? He never volunteered any of these details so why are you filling the void for him? Like I said, perhaps he spoke with you outside the post because base's purely on his post, he asked whether he needed resident permit to go run *visa stuff* in Ghana. My answer remains, if you are staying less than 90 days in Ghana, you don't need more than your passport under the ECOWAS protocol. What you plan on doing and other visa applications you seek may determine other documentations you may need to procure.

Worst thing be say, Nigerians can hardly pretend to be Ghanaians in GH. Just make a little speech, they'll instantly identify you as a Nigerian. They're very very good at sniffing out Nigerian accents. But back in Nigeria, no one cares who you are. They just blend in like cameleons.

Where did you get this from?? 🧐
What that Inoki guy calls 𝐋𝐞𝐤𝐤𝐢 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝, it's what Ghanaians normally see as soup. A certain Ghanaian told me that, that our thick mixture that we use for swallow isn't soup but stew. That their watery assorted thing, is the real soup. Well, to each his/her own. I didn't argue further becoz most Nigerians usually see that as pepper soup which you scoop up with spoon.

..

You can check out dice online and invisible.co.. they’re not Ghana sites but have remote jobs applications on their sites. There are also some job openings at the US embassy in Accra.. just use this site gh.usembassy.gov/embassy/jobs.. I wish you all the best. Just follow the instructions and hopefully you get picked
