"This accusation that Abike Dabiri and her organisation are singling out people of Igbo origin and preventing them from being evacuated out of war-torn Sudan is not only ridiculous and unhelpful, it is also very ill-timed.

And it is quite disappointing that some people have taken this allegation, without evidence and are asking Abike and NIDCOM to defend themselves.

First and foremost, your common sense should tell you that the evacuation is being carried out by the Ministry of foreign affairs, not NIDCOM.

And the minister, Geoffrey Onyeama, is of Igbo extraction. If such a thing is occurring, and I doubt that it is, it will be the Minister of Foreign Affairs that would be asked to defend himself, not an agency whose responsibility it is not to evacuate Nigerians from a war zone. If you have evidence, bring it. And if not, do not distract them from the sensitive task they are performing.

What is even surprising is that despite using the state of origin to avoid these kind of issues and ensure that all of Nigeria represented in Sudan have access to the buses, Northerners have complained that lots of Northerners are the majority of Nigerians left behind - which is to be expected considering their affection for Islamic education that Sudan offers.

So I do not understand that Igbos too now want to play victim and even condemn the state of origin approach that ensures that Northerners do not fully dominate the list of those evacuated.

It simply shows that you cannot please everyone in a heterogeneous nation.

Are those in the video Nigerians ?
Are they Igbos ?
Are they in Sudan ?

I reckon there are scarce resources to truly evacuate every Nigerian at the same time regardless of their mission in Sudan.

So the state of origin approach was the best to ensure a fair evacuation of the citizens of a heterogeneous Nigeria.

In spite of this fair approach, complaints have still come up by multiple sides claiming their own side were left behind.

At least there should be some record now about which states had representation among the evacuated.

This fake pastor and gigolo always see everything as an opportunity to seek attention. Such a fool.
