Hi All,

I am in a tight corner and I will be glad for your assistance with regard to when is an appointment scheduled for the short-term visa (other alternatives )I have been trying for the past few weeks and keep getting an unavailable response and I should retry at regular intervals (from 11:00 pm Nigeria time).

I am awarded a fellowship program for summer and based on the terms, I am meant to secure the visa at my end. The necessary documents have been provided by the organiser but I am yet to successfully book the visa appointment from the site. Speaking with other fellows in other countries, they are experiencing the same issue but were lucky to the visa interview by walking into the embassy in their countries without booking an appointment and being attended to.

In my case, I will be needing to travel down to Lagos risking my current engagement without an appointment booked considering the starting date for the program. I would like to know if a "walk-in interview" is allowed at the Lagos Embassy and if not what other possible steps to take in other secure the visa appointment.

Thanks

Thanks

Walk in is not possible in german or any embassy in Nigeria. You would have to book and it takes a year.
Thanc

Hello house, is English proficiency and GRE test mandatory for a degree holder?

I want to japa to Germany and do nursing, how can one find a sponsor?

I don’t want to do the block funds thing so relocating to another country can be swift when I get the chance.

Gurus in the house kindly answer any or all the questions I asked. Thanks

Please why not just create a WhatsApp group!!🙏🏽 (Or should I create one?)
The link you sent isn’t active

Honestly no need for telegram or WhatsApp group, its better we ask questions here and proffer the solutions here so that people can see it and read it in years to come. Its because people are posting their questions and answers here that is why you are here

Most of them suggesting WhatsApp and Telegram are new to the flow and ignorant of the fact info shared in those groups is the product of years of information shared here.

I think it's time Cc: Justwise starts banning mentions of Whatsapp and Telegram in study threads

Mine was even march 29 not april 🥺🥺
My ig is hairsbydoyin so we can exchange contacts to keep up

The wait time is 1 year 3 months. So if you applied March 29th 2022, you should expect your mail from the embassy around June 2023

I studied in Benin for my first degree but presently in Nigeria, I just got admitted into a German uni for Masters. Can I go back to apply for German visa in Benin Republic without a resident person or will my attestation de residence suffice?

Ps: I applied for AD around July 2022

Lecturers and students deserve to be denied visas because they abuse the educational route to run from the country.

While politicians should be approved visas so they can learn from other countries how to use our little resources to our advantage.
You are talking trash.
How have politicians improved the welfare of ordinary citizens of this country since they started travelling abroad.
People should desist from making heartless statement.
