Deltamani:So both Ayinde and Ajibade should be available for the first WC match because the Olympic qualifier in July would serve as an official competitive game |

PDPGuy:I think there would be a preliminary round that top teams won't be a part of. Wouldn't make sense to fix a qualifiers for teams that would be playing in the world cup a few days later. |

INTERVIEW From Isabella Obaze, Halimatu Ayinde teammate at Rosengard Isabella Obaze comes from Kolding in Jutland, where she started playing soccer as an eight-year-old. Her father is originally from Nigeria, but moved to London at the age of two and the family sees him as English. I was actually contacted by the Nigeria national team management at one point, they wanted me to play for them. I was also told that I could apply for British citizenship and play for that national team. But I feel the most for Denmark, I grew up there and it would feel strange to play for another country. When she was 18, Isabella Obaze moved to Køge and had a couple of difficult seasons there. There were two gold medals in the Elite Division and, as icing on the cake, play in the Champions League. Do you think there are any differences between the Swedish and Danish leagues? - I think the pace is the biggest difference. It's so much faster here and the players are always two steps ahead and know where they are going. In the Danish league, it sometimes feels as if coincidences decide. In Køge there were quite a lot of long balls... I'm not saying that the Danish league is bad, not at all, but it's just that here everything is at a slightly higher level. And I notice it every day in training, it feels like every training session makes me better.

Deltamani:Make she play wing for us. Chai. Twill just make pressure on the back reduce, especially as she does come back to help defend unlike the other way where the winger in front of her doesn't assist |

| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 10:07am On May 05, 2023 |
isan:Pat is a Fullback/Winger that loves to run with the ball and enjoys overlapping… She uses both feet’s effectively to the extent you can’t even tell which one is her strongest. But right now she has taking a year Break out of Football.. |

mostob:I think Randy would have given Nicole Payne the opportunity to grow in that Right Back position as that’s her main position.. Just as he has done with Imuran. Randy barely plays Nicole in the Right Back position, Always from the Left wing which is her alternative position.. Not that she’s good with both feet’s, |

So, please let us know who is not 'average' that should be utilized as the Full back(s)? Because, as far as I am concerned, the very best options Nigeria has are the ones currently there. Either that, or those you are advocating for have been tried and tested in the position and found to be not adequate. Deltamani: |
