Nobody said DDG was the only problem. I thought we were talking about where we need to improve. If we keep DDG we will not be a possession dominating team. That does not mean we don’t have other places to improve in.

Also the bench mark for passing out from the back in the EPL is Ederson not Allison.

Alisson is a better GK overall compared to Ederson

Some of the passes from the Brighton keeper made my heart skip a beat. I know my DDG could never complete such perfectly weighted and angled passes. DDG would have raised my blood pressure trying that.

If we had a keeper who was good with his feet we wouldn’t needlessly lose possession like we did. We’d have a better control of the game. Our players would have more confidence and would perform better.

But that doesn’t negate the profligacy of Rashford, Martial aAntony in front of goal though. They should’ve put the game to bed in the first half.

I blame those 3 mostly for the loss.
