How can you sentence a man that wrote to your embassy about his intention to take someone to UK for the purpose of organ donation.
The donor is not a minor.
What nonsense law do they practice in the uk

My thoughts exactly

Karma is real, had it been the money budgeted for our health facilities are not diverted the transplant would have been carried out successful without traveling abroad. Biko, what's the state of the daughter

Well-deserved. This is the kind of justice that you can't just help but celebrate. When karma hits, it hits hard. I don't even care if this jail term is for organ harvesting or whatever. I am just happier that all the corruption this dude has engaged in as a senator in Nigeria is finally been punished in the UK. I'm sure a lot of his colleagues are watching and realizing that the lack of pity many Nigerians have for this organ harvester is because of the many crimes he committed as a senator. For all the other senators and governors, their day of reckoning is coming and it won't be in Nigeria.

I say a big AMEN to your prayer my brother! I personally do not care about the organ harvesting debacle, I want to see every Nigerian politician who has been into politics for the past 15 years jailed. They really messed up the country and millions have died as a result while hundreds of millions are suffering as I type. No pity from me.

Nigerians are a very patient and tolerant people otherwise politicians and their families should be getting lynched all over the country.

Whether, Igbo, Hausa, or Yoruba, I pray they end up as Ekweremadu who have mismanaged and destroyed the wealth of this country for the common citizen.

It's really unfortunate. How are the mighty fallen! How could he have known that this is how it will be at the twilight of his very colorful political career? We can deceive anyone, even everyone but there's just no way of deceiving the Almighty God. He laughs last always. It's not like He hasn't already warned us. But we always think we're smarter than Him. Since he refused to learn outside life, maybe he will learn inside life.

I urge Ike Ekwerenmadu to Appeal his conviction.

This is not in any way justice. We have documents proof that the senator write the UK Embassy officially notifying them about the kidney transparent.

This is mere witch hunting and I condemn it, I condemn it. I condemn it and I call on all Nigerians to rise up to their voices to demand for a fair justice.

The FG must as a matter of urgency sanction the British govt.

The British embassy should be shutdown immediately.
.all British companies or businesses in Nigeria should be shutdown immediately.

This is unacceptable and we condemn it, we condemn it, we condemn it.

Because of yeye ekweremadu your foolish self thinks Nigeria should cut diplomatic ties with Britain? I have no other way to say this but "Your head is not correct"

As they say, "The evil that men do lives with them." I hope this would serve as a lesson to other crooked politicians in the failed country, Nigeria, that no bad deed goes unpunished. Mr. Ekwerenmadu deprived his constituents of the basic necessities of life while he was living high on the hog. He thought the world was his oyster and felt he was on cloud nine and untouchable. Today, he's a prisoner of his own making in a foreign land. He who has ears let him hear!

You think this is Nigeria were you can get away with impunity. If it were to be Nigeria they will do everything to put pressure on the judge to vacate the case after paying a heavy sum. Thumder fire all of the una including them.

how did the "the plethora of leniency pleas sent by prominent African individuals and organisations, in the form of letters posted to representatives of the British Government, influence the court in tempering justice with mercy"?

what is the mercy that was tampered in this case?

what was the thrust of those pleas?

Offences under the Modern Slavery Act attract consequences of life imprisonment.

I guess you hate Nigerians. Go to his constituency and see how they're jubilating. Just go online. They say he's such a wicked soul who did nothing in their constituency. He promised building hospitals from the constituency project money but later abandoned it. Don't pity Nigerian politicians. You may just be offending God. They're more wicked than the devil. Ekweremadu had healthy children who could have offered to donate their kidney but he looked the other way and picked a poor boy instead. That's worse than a sin against the golly spirit. When Karma strikes, they say its wicked meanwhile, Karma is only doing its thing.

The likes of ekweremadu are all over the country today. Karma would soon visit them.
Gbamsulotely, Gbamsulotely, Gbamsulotely. Well said, l have no single pity for all the corrupt politicians in Nigeria from 1979 till the current thief and criminal living in Aso Rock with his gang of 40 thieves called cabals, Ekweremadu and wife should buzz off, the same fate awaits all politicians in Nigeria and all the people involved in Wickedness all over the world, nonsense and Buhari and Ekweremadu cheesy

When you try to carry out very critical stuff in another country, common sense should tell you to understand the laws there. Actually, the understood the laws there, they were just so desperate that they didn't care. Sorry for them and their daughter but the law is the law and was made for a reason e.g to stop human trafficking and organ sale in the black market
