Yes you're right opinions vary, i prefer slow rap to fast rap. Slow is easy to understand and flow with, that's why i prefer BIG to pac anyday.
Dremo is cool but the dude has stagnated like Ycee,limerick,Alpha ogini and co. Blaqbonez seems to be the only 9ja rapper keeping the flag flying.
I miss the days of prime MI, iceberg slim,mode 9,terry tha rapman, jesse jags and co ruled the airwaves. Now everyone is trying to sound like whites and no one wants to do something special or different.
I didn't include Erigga cause he's a journalist reporting the 9ja situation like it is.

I think boogey has actually failed to reinvent himself, there's a way you can actually inculcate today's trend into your rap without diverting totally from hip-hop.

The last verse for ill mind 8 made me to stop my under paying and tasking work to something better

The most amazing thing about ill mind of hopsin to me is that,till this day, whenever I'm listening I don't sing along, even tho I know 90% of it.
I just allow everything sink in word by word.
