My wife COS comes with maintenance ticked and her resumption date is 28 May 2023. She has gotten her Visa but i just want to apply for mine, please do i need to attach Bank statement or just Apply directly since the maintenance is still in the month covered?

I arrived UK 2 days ago through heathrow Airport with my wife (MA) & 2 children.The officer only asked the MA why came to UK & she said work. She collected our visas & stamped us in.

While a lady we landed together was asked to show evidences of her work.According to her,she showed them all the mails/correspondence between her & the employer. They even have to call the employer to confirm her identity before she was stamped in.

Moral of the story is always have your work application evidence, employment or offer letter,,CoS printed or in soft copy incase they ask for it at POE.

For those that get their CoS through agents ,always insist they follow the application procedure before issuing CoS & give you the evidences. Because some agents will give you CoS after 2 or 3 days after reaching agreement with them( you all know what i mean by agreement).

does not matter that is for tb test. You do not have settled status neither do they. You are on Tier 2 and for only 2 months you have been which is a temporary visa. Your partner will fill tier 2 partner dependent form and ur children child dependent form. End of story

I left my children back home in Nigeria, it’s been almost 1 year since I left them, I WANT TO BEGIN THE PROCESS OF BRINGING THEM DOWN TO THE UK, WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE and COST PLEASE, I’m asking because I used an agent at first, but can no longer afford to pay an agent, and I’m completely blank about it. You don't need an agent for their visa applications.
You'd need
1. Birth certificates showing that you're their mother.

2. If you're not married to their father, you'd need a court order granting you sole responsibility for the children.

3. You might need to show evidence that prior to coming to the UK that you were fully responsible for them and that their care arrangement after you left is/was temporary.

4. If you're still with their father, he'll need to be in the UK with you already or be applying at the same time as them. It is mostly very difficult to travel to the UK on a non-visit visa without the other partner except in cases of partner's death or having sole responsibility.
The father's name must be on the birth certificate if he's the biological father.

5. Evidence of your status in the UK: BRP and/or Home Office reference number.

6. Evidence of suitable accommodation for them e.g. Tenancy agreement.

7. Evidence of their care arrangements e.g. schools/nurseries while you're away from home. You can include your correspondence with council- recognised baby sisters or nannies, nurseries, schools.

1. Take them along, even if it's just the photocopies. Don't forget to make a print-out of your passport datapage, as you will need it to be stapled to your checklist when it's time to pick up your passport. Take your original passport, payment confirmation email and checklist along as well. Take everything to be on the safe side!
2. You can pay for courier service there with your debit card. You will be asked at the reception if that's something you want before proceeding for your biometrics.
