God as a name means idol, God as a title means idol, not only your deity yahweh is called “God”, other monotheistic deities are called that too.

First I don't see the point of belief. If something exists then it is better to know that it does exist than to believe it does.

With that in mind, anything that will ascertain to me and impart to me the knowledge that the god exists. Such things as we usually use to ascertain that a human is actual would constitute the prepondance of what would bring me to acceptance.

The calculations and intelligence utilized in creating the said creation, or the beauty and design and how they convey emotions; if studied will prompt you to believe without a shadow of a doubt that all these if not created by God were at least made by someone or something of similar characteristics. You can't tell me these marvelous designs weren't crafted but just appeared as a result of a bang?

let's be frank, you don't know everything you believe, you know right? How do you know there are 8 planets, for instance? You haven't seen them before, have you? But you believed anyway. You don't know everything you believe. How did you know the phone you purchased from the store was authentic? You hadn't used it before for a long period of time, had you? You still believed.
Now check this, there is a being existing outside this physical realm and to know him all you have to do is believe him. If you could blindly believe like in those 2 examples I gave, and how you do in your daily life, you definately can believe in a deity that created all things, who's sign of existence exists around you daily.

a dictionary will have it's meaning, but my defination is it's a being not physical or natural. Spirits are also the source of existence of humankind.
How do I know they exist? One, science hasn't been able to truly explain how the universe was created and also what gives life, emotion and intellect to humans. The lack of tangible explanations to that effect to answer our primary and basest questions of life has led me to believe that there exists an invisible force backing our existence that science cannot detect. There's also stories of ghosts and all that. But the main proof for me is my ability to commune with God anywhere, anytime.

I'll prove it. First of all, do you believe in Jesus?

Of course I don't believe everything I know, it's a foolish person who believes everything. Which is one of the reasons I don't find belief to be particularly useful. It is a placeholder for unproven things and often the gateway for scams.

I know there are planets, the 8 that are considered so in this solar system and many others elsewhere because there is evidence.

I know the phone I purchased is genuine because I examined it before I bought it.

As you can see I did not blindly believe in the 2 examples you gave so I will also not blindly believe in your god concept.

so if God appeared to you physically of sort, and introduced himself as God, would you believe? Remember even at that state there is no scientific evidence to back you up, cos cameras can't catch it and recorders can't get the audio. So would you?
