Well, so far u can save above 100k or 150k in a month after removing all expenses in any kind of business in this present Nigeria economy, I think the business is worth it cos even most salary earners barely save that except the ogas. U can now invest in other things to give you multiple streams of income.

I forgot to add...

In this Uber business you can save up to a million naira for 6 months and just one damage will arise and you'll be going borrowing money to add up to fix car or solve one problem. Do you agree?

My words must have hit you so hard for you to come back at me this way... Lol... But see it as it may, I just spoke the truth nothing more than the truth.

Examine your life since the day you started driving and tell yourself the bitter truth bro.

Have you made any significant and trajectory progress driving Uber?

Don't tell us, tell yourself the truth.

I'll come for you with receipt. You words would have hit me if I am not on the incline. Failure like you always have opinion, instead to subject yourself to true inspection, why am I not getting it? Rather you condemn everything.

First you started out with Dru, you didn't make anything out of it.

Sold your village land as said to buy a benz, you didn't make anything out of it.

Slide to car dealer without CAC or dealer's licence. Least we heard of you is buying a car for ehailling 650k in the name of help. Like seriously? Are you out of your gaddam mind buying a car of 650k for a newbies. You took advantage of that dude if you need one to spell it out for you. I feel you need help, but you are about to drown ignorant ones and that my point of enough.

If you need a receipt.
That's my monthly ajo. 100k every month.
Here are some dollars and pounds bill for you
My 2 cars are parked right in my compound
Saw this hyundai last night 1.6 here and was even thinking of getting it for HP. Might not really like the idea, but being a blessing to someone that will understand is not a bad thing.
Need you know how much is sitting in my account, bitcoins and debts folks are owing?

I don't do this shit, but your excess is becoming much. Mind I started with a brick. Upload the receipt of your recent house rent. I dare you bro.

Food for thought!
Kindly be diplomatic in your write ups so that people will warmly digest it rather than feel attacked.

Had I had a better and more palatable way or diplomatic just like you suggested to say these thing trust me I'd done it but again I couldn't

I drove for 2 to 3 years, I faced one of the toughest tasked, partners and had all forms of experience. I took trips to almost every part of the country in within these period. I used different cars, from Honda Accord to Corolla to Camry, Civic, name it. As a car owner and also a partner/driver. So no one should disregard my statements when I speak or tag it failure.

The only benefactor in this line of business are (1) the app owners
(2) the filling stations and
(3) part sellers and their mechanics.

Drivers are just like a tools in the hands of these people.

Some years ago you discussed about coding and all that. Don't tell me you have totally left that profitable venture and have been chasing instant peanuts that will not build you a good future and lifestyle.

Most Uber drivers have been shadowed with the poor thinking mindset. Let me just do this and not die, feed myself and family, their brains cells have been plated with short time goal, so they just want to survive for the now and careless about tomorrow... A myopic mindset.

Free your self from this myopic and menial earnings and start thinking of a long term goal that will better your life and that of your loves once.

Uber business will only earn you a plate of food but not a bag of food that will last you a life time. Uber earning will destroy your health, social life, family love and most of all distract you from attaining your goals in life because it won't give you time to think straight or see the big picture or any opportunity even if it's right in front of you. All you'll be thinking is how to satisfy your partner so he/she doesn't withdraws his car from you, how to put food in the table for your kids and wife, and how to meet up with your HP and own the car you're currently driving but you easily forget the same car is dying up due to its every day stress and minimal maintenance.

The people that suffers most in this Uber business are the married men with kids and wife to look after. Like have you ever seat down to think that one day accident might just occur? You might list any part of your body if your lucky and if you're not lucky your life? Who will take care of your live once when you're gone? Uber? Or Bolt?

Take time now and start building a small business even if it's a POS or engine Oil or generator oil business. Or spare part business.
Get a little shop, container shop, 40-60k buy some fire extinguishers, Nuts, spinner, screw drivers, okada engine oil and all that... This business will kick off with 200-500k. You that have an educative skills, develop more in it, go for more training, webminer, seminars and workshops. Meet people of like mind and build on your career do this vigorously for 1-3yrs I assure you will feel irritated like I do each time I come here reading comments because the comments are annoying.

Uber work no be arm oooh... The other day I asked how these of our old grandpas here ...lol... Do it and some of them say... Grace. My brother no be grace ooh... Your mentality has been washed to believe ehailing is the best thing after slice bread.

I looked at my daughter one day and I thought, so this girl I gave birth to in 2020 now get to 8yrs and her mates in school ask her what does your dad does for a living she will say what? My daddy is an Uber driver? God forbid. Na that day I started dropping the job.

Thank God for thief in January 1st that stole my phone, he also contributed in cementing my decision.

Pure undiluted truth.
He doesn't need to be diplomatic with his words. I've been on both sides of the coin and I can categorically tell y'all that driving isn't living.

First, my phone crashed (though a friend helped with another before I got a new one).
I also got kicked out of a WhatsApp group by an overzealous Admin for no valid reason (but difference in opinion) and both experiences cemented my decision never to come back.

I'm thankful I did.

We complain too much instead of focus. Today you can do between 25/30k daily on this hustle. Who else can't do 25k on both sat on sun. I mean on rida and indrive, more of bolt.

If you work 4 times in a week and do btw 100/120k weekly. That's 400/480k monthly. Is it not better than being dubious or doing nothing.

Men let me not talk on many flaws, but one thing I am certain... if you can't succeed with little? Much won't make any difference. The worst thing you can engage in is what kills you more. Anyone that felt the hustle is not worth it, should drop his keys with immediate effect. At least you have options now.

Lol... but you know say nah your back I deh boss. I honestly won't concern myself with stuffs like this, but I've seen lot of peeps fold on this hustle. How did ABC, the young and Co kept keeping on after all these years, while people come and go in transportation business. I am not saying Uber is the best thing, but when person promise to dress you up nicely, first look wetin em wear.

If he have advice to share, disrespecting other is not the best way to go about it. Everytime we talk done on this hustle, yet we wake and jump into the car. Are we under some kind of spell? I know the story of a man his wife borrowed money for him to get a car, he was doing good, don't know what pushed him to a business, he start seeing some change. Next he sell the car and delve fully into the business. Today he is sitting with the wife at her shop. All effort gone.

The so called Felicity after all his ups and downs, with his advice. What is he doing today? Tell him to come out honestly with receipts. Set awon Dangote adviser. Who even in his right sense sells land (properties) for car (valuables)? I honestly won't lay back and watch someone that can't pay house rent rain insults on my via proxy or not.

If doesn't succeed in things he put his hands on, shouldnt be enough reason to generalise.

And to the other folks. Driving is technical, it goes way beyond jumping into the car and moving Lagos aimlessly.

Hahaha...
Baba I no yab any body ooh

I'm only speaking the minds of many and also to let the newbies who intend going into the hustle to know what they're about to sign up to- destruction and not futuristic.

The truth they say is bitter bit I never knew it can hurt the way pope191 is currently pained to an extent is came out posting all kinds just to proof what exactly I don't know.

Let's compare him and BAZ001 now
Pope191 is a successful Uber driver who according to him has 2 cars packed in his rented apartment/compound, he grows old tomorrow let's say 50 like his neighbor who can't see properly again and he's not able to complete 2 trips a day b4 retiring to his rented apartment.
Let's assume he has 10 cars on rental in his fleet that pays him 30k weekly and his net earning oer month is say 500k.

At age 50 pope191 has 2-4kids 1 in university and 2 in secondary school and 1 in primary. He's still living in a rented apartment, paying school fees and the cars are gradually aging away. His kids regard him as a retired Uber driver/business man... Not Bitcoin trader because that venture don cast... Bitcoin was USD68m/coin last year, currently is struggling @12K/C... Meaning no future in that... Take it or leave it!
Let's leave that dilemma right there.

Now BAZ001 or seyicodes saw the light quickly as an Uber driver and decided to put more energy in his coding lessons while driving Uber part time just to keep body and soul... He couldn't keep up with the rental since he has to work round the clock for 4 days stretch to meet up with his rental and his up keep weekly so he has to drop the car and put up with a friend or a relative for 12 months or work as a bar man to earn a living for these period. After a year seyicodes/BAZ001 became a guru in his coding and got a major job contract and then travelled abroad or built a house and become very wealthy (had time for himself, his family and friend, could eat whatever he feels like, buy whatever he want) - married with kids and is already wrote some softwear who Microsoft and some automobile companies are using for their apps and cars. Has a school where he lectures as sift wear engineer and all that....

Now, btw these two people who is more secured and more comfortable with their kids having a more secured future?

While one was busy helping another man to build his career the other was busy building his own career and business to leave his his children to come inherit.

Some years ago many called Dru23 out that he's running a business from America with a CAC and the guy was forced to show his CAC here and that was how their mouth was shit for ever grin me... I won't show you shishi... I like it when you talk and drag my name... My business is not registered, ok I don hear, let's wait and see the day FIRS will come to our company for illegal arrest then we will show them that we are law abiding citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

To all the wise once, make haste while the sun shines because sooner or later you may not have the time.

Start up your own business now! No matter how little with time it will grow. Even if na table shop it will grow to a whale house some day provided you're focus, determine and persevere. No one needs prayer to succeed, all that is needed is courage and a start up fund.

Please I need your experienced input, I have a 2008 toyota corolla which i use for bolt (just started 2days ago) on part time basis, as I was driving this afternoon I noticed steam coming from the bonnet, AC was on and we were in hold up, I noticed the fan was not running as I opened the bonnet, I called my mechanic who told me it's the fan, immediately we went to change the fan (sic) mechanism, after fitting the fan it still didn't work, we have to get a rewire who discovered that the fan fuse is burnt, we also noticed that the radiator was leaking water from the side.

My confusion now is that the mechanic and the guy that fixed the fan is saying (1) I have to get a 2 cell radiator as the single cell is small for my engine or (2) they weld the bad radiator which will serve for sometimes

Please I need your input for best decision to make please

Weld the radiator in the mean time, but be sure to replace it when you have the money.

Also, always pay attention to your temperature guage on your dashboard. Once it rises past the middle, find a good place to park and attend to the issue.

You will be fine
