"deity" is a noun. It's not a specific name attached to person or thing. For example: Obi is a boy. "Obi" is the specific name, while "boy" is just the noun. Notice how "Obi" starts with a capital letter while "boy" doesn't. So for "God" to start with a capital letter it means it's a specific name or title (same purpose), while "god" is just a generic noun representing a deity.

Of course I don't believe everything I know, it's a foolish person who believes everything. Which is one of the reasons I don't find belief to be particularly useful. It is a placeholder for unproven things and often the gateway for scams.

I know there are planets, the 8 that are considered so in this solar system and many others elsewhere because there is evidence.

I have been scammed before and it was because I believed the scammer instead of checking. The times I do check a scammer's claims I didn't fall for the scam.

If I was going to sit on a chair I have never sat on before of course I am going to check it can carry my weight or that it is stable enough to sit on.
